Date: Sat, 14 February 2009 10:15 WesternIndonesiaTime Subject: Swiss Re New CEO And My Application Letter
Another news about Swiss Re, the world's largest reinsurance company, after my previous letter of "Ninth Dream Comes True, Semanggi Bridge" that also contains the same company. Jacques Aigrain has stepped down as chief executive officer of Swiss Re, the world's largest reinsurer, and will be replaced by German manager Stefan Lippe, the group announced Thursday, February 12, 2009. In the morning of the same day Jakarta time, I wrote an application letter to a company of Lippo group, one of a major conglomerate groups in Indonesia among which developing the the Lippo Karawaci city. The reason for my writing the application was following the offer from my brother for a job of Graphic Designer like mentioned in my previous letter "An Offer Of ’GD’". Nevertheless, because the initial of Graphic Designer is "GD" that can be interpreted as "Gates Di", I declined that interesting offer of my brother. After what happened to Lady Diana, who died around two years after I began my letters and paintings of her because I thought her name sounded like "die" that commensurate with my consent to move to the eternity, yet in 2007 I changed my mind by making a letter of "sacrificing" her by an idea of she should be better married someone of my recommendation, I really should be careful about this. There are some other strong reasons for applying to that company of Lippo group. It is located at Lippo Karawaci, in which Karawaci is like containing the word "car", in accordance with my idea of land journey on a car. Several months ago, Karawaci began to develop a new inside-the-city racing track just like that of Monaco Grand Prix. And last week the first race took place, televised live by TV-One. When I happened to watch it, the race was delayed after a car accident, so a pace car was guiding the racing cars, at that moment were the race of Honda Jazz cars. The pace car happened to be a black Audi sport. Audi has the logo of four circles that look like four zeros, in accordance with my consent to become zero, to meet the end of my life, to move to the eternity. And the e-mail address of that company has the word "first", like related with my name "Firman", and it ended with "co.id" that sound like Jakarta word "ko’it" which means "die". Actually "co.id" is the dotcom for Indonesian websites. But actually this job opportunity is also not so suitable for me because I have been fifty years old now, the company must have been preferred to accept young fresh graduates. Besides, since Lippo’s logo has the color of red, it could make me no longer in neutral position approaching the coming election because red is the color of one of the major political party. Therefore, actually I prefer to realize the "test" through the selling of my "15 paintings", in which I can be in neutral political position while filling the rest of my life in more meaningful useful activities.
Date: Sat, 14 February 2009 11:27 WesternIndonesiaTime Subject: Strong Reminders After My Application To Lippo
There were two strong reminders that appeared after my writing an application letter to Lippo group. At the same day of my sending the application letter, Thursday 12 February 2009, a young man died from jumping six floors high. His name was Jimmy Martin, allegedly committed suicide by jumping from sixth floor of a bag shop Elizabeth in Bandung. His first name Jimmy is rather similar with the name of James T. Riady, CEO of Lippo group, son of the founder Mochtar Riady. The next day, Friday 13 February 2009, when the incumbent president SBY accepting US ambassador for Indonesia Cameron R. Hume, president SBY was wearing red dress. Lippo’s logo has the color of red, so is the color of a major political party which is not of the incumbent's party. These two reminders seem like to make me aware of my having to be in neutral position approaching the coming Indonesian election.
