Pacific Place Accidents, Again

After the accident of a crane tower
collapsed at a building project of Pacific Place at SCBD in central
Jakarta, that caused a motorcycle rider who went under the crane
died instantly, while three other people in two cars were injured
like I wrote in my previous letter of
Crane Tower Tumbling Down After My Visit to Mr. Rinaldi, there
were two other accidents again at the same location.
The first accident crane tower collapsed
was on Thursday 24 May 2007. Another two accidents were on 7 June
2007 and 8 June 2007.
On 7 June 2007, the steel structure of
scaffolding were shaking, 7 people working at 37th floor fell to the
elevator path, two deaths while two others seriously injured.
On 8 June 2007 the steel rope holding a
gondola to clean the glass windows was broken, two people nearly
have to meet the end of their life. They could survive by entering
the building through a broken window.
