Cheney emphasised a message of no retreat from Iraq Thursday as he headed to Australia, a close ally committing more soldiers to the war as other nations withdraw.

On 29 January 2007 I wrote the letter of Paris' Big Fish containing Paris Hilton’s visit to Japan and Australia. A few days later there was the news of Vice President Dick Cheney plan to visit Japan and Australia. Whether or not there was a significant message for me, I still have no idea.

David Lesar, CEO of Halliburton Co., answers a question for the media following the annual Halliburton shareholders meeting in Duncan, Okla., in this May 17, 2006 file photo. Halliburton Co.'s decision to shift its CEO's offices from Houston to Dubai puts a key company post nearer to important markets - and further from some political headaches. Industry experts say that makes sense.

A man rides his motorcycle with the Sheik Zayed high way towers in the background in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Dec. 10, 2006. Halliburton's critics have been fierce, calling the company's decision to shift its Houston headquarters to Arab boomtown of Dubai positively un-American. But analysts say the Texas oil services giant is simply going where the buyers for its oil and gas-drilling gear and services happen to be: the Middle East. Dubai is the region's financial capital.

On 11 February 2007 I wrote about my previous idea of reclamation project with the photo of Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah. So when recently came the news about Halliburton, the US oil services giant formerly led by Vice President Dick Cheney, revealed a plan to move to Dubai, it makes me contemplate about whether or not it has a message for me.
