Subject:  A Canal Toll Road Design

This is a design for a canal with toll roads on the left and the right side that could hopefully help reduce the flow of water toward Jakarta especially during the monsoon season. Jakarta has 13 rivers that go through the city, either the big rivers or the small rivers, flowing the water from mountain areas at the South a few kilometers from Jakarta. Of course it is still a basic design that would need the handling of some experts from related field if it was to realize.

It began at around Cibinong area, goes West and upward through Serpong, crossing the Jakarta-Merak toll road, through Tangerang, through the West of Soekarno-Hatta Airport, and ended at the Java sea. The total length would be around 50 kilometers, the width would be 200 meters, whereas 150 meters of it would become the canal. This is just a basic design, it could have some changes as required if it was to realize.

An important thing here is that it would be ecology friendly, using some trees and other plants that might help absorb the water to the ground.

Some artificial lakes serve as basins also would be built close to the canal to decrease the speed of water flow.

And again this is just an idea, whether or not it could be realize would depend on many factors, including the local government willingness to agree with this idea.

Most of all, it has no political content related to myself. This is important to clarify here because sometimes whenever I seem like having a good idea there would be some accusations that I would use it to develop a political career. While in fact, I have no interest to enter politics because I have no capability to become a good politician, and I am quite sure there have been plenty of good politicians here who could handle the political matters nicely for the better future of the country.
