Responsibility The Senior Director, Development and Member Relations is responsible for maintaining the SLA Unit Fund Development Policy. . Purpose The purpose of this policy is to ensure that the Association protects its tax-exempt status and maintains sound reporting practices in accordance with the Internal Revenue Service, and other regulatory authorities. The SLA Unit Fund Development Policy will remain an active document, reviewed by the appropriate staff on an annual basis. Significant changes in the procedures will be reported to the Finance Committee and to the Association's independent accounting firm.
