As a result specialist clusters and research groups have been developing during the past five years thus increasing the teaching and research capacity of the School. There are also two active research groups and a consultancy unit. These include the Environmental Design Group, the International Development Group and Studio Alpha. All groups are involved in teaching and running design studios at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. This facilitates the interactive process between research and teaching.
