This has been supplemented in the last two years by the School's involvement in the Clients and Users in Design Education Project funded by HEFCE. . Research activities within the School have developed around five themes based on the staff shared interest and specialist knowledge. As a result specialist clusters and research groups have been developing during the past five years thus increasing the teaching and research capacity of the School.
