Well here we go. Rainbow warrior has a New Era Chassis with a Parma Hemi Motor in the middle of it for a look of realism. Steel gears with 4 to 1 gear reductions and Astro-Flite Truck Pulling Motors with a 1/2 hp each for a total of 1 hp and a total combined gear of 111 to 1 . All of this hooked to a solid steel rear axle. And it has snapped the stock clod axles on me twice. For a speed controller I used a Astro-Flite that can handle up 32 cells. And for the steering servo I went with an Airtronics 132oz that way it could handle the custom machined dualy wheels. They were hand cut on a lathe out of solid piece of aluminum. The guy who made them said he would never do it again! I then put on 8 USA-1 tires. With two tires per wheel they weight 2 pounds each. The total combined weight of the truck is 16 pounds. The truck is 22 inches wide with a 14 inch wheel base. Here's an interesting fact. The full sized Bigfoot monster truck with dual tires weight was 16,000 pounds and 20 foot wide. Kinda cool to know that! Then came time for the body I choose the stock clod buster body and knew no ordinary paint job would do, So with some help from my friends at Precision Fleet Body Shop I had it painted with a color called Blasberry. It cost 200 dollars an oz!! The paint on Rainbow warrior is worth around 1000 dollars. It changes color as the light hits it. Then I added Ram roll bar lights. The lights in the grill work also. For a radio I used a Futaba Sport. In total the truck will pull 700 pounds in a wagon !!!! It is totally cool and does it all on just 8 cells (no kidding)! On 11-18-99 Rainbow warrior was chained to a Power Wheels Bigfoot (the kind that kids ride in) for a tug of war. I had to pull it for three feet to cross the line. We took a Cub Scout that weight about 65 pounds and put him in the vehical. Rainbow Warrior pulled that Power Wheels Bigfoot backwards for 15 feet!!!!!!We tried it again with a kid that weight about 80 pounds. It was a struggle but Rainbow warrior was still able to pull it past the three foot mark!
This thing is w-i-d-e and meanacing!! Check out the working headlights and roll bar lights!
This is a New Era upper and lower chassis. This truck pulls 700 pounds with only an 8 cell battery!
Notice that the huge hole where the stock hood scoop used to be is filled in.

It's hard to tell from these pictures but the paint changes colors as the light hits it. This paint is called Blasberry and is 200 dollars an oz!
