BorderPatrol it has a Sassy chassis, Sassy stretched body, steel gears, a pair of Astro-flite truck pulling motors that are
rated at 1/2 hp each, 8tooth pinions, quarter scale servo on the front, Tekin 4-20 g2 electronic speed controler, home made 14 cell battery, custom made weight bar on the front and a set of JPS wheels on it. RAm strobe light controlls the light bar. The truck has a solid steel axle in the rear the bow tie in the front is cut out of lead and it weight 5 pounds. The trucks total weight is 20 pounds with the batteries in it. A Parma hemi motor sticking out of finishes off the body. The exhaust pipes run straight up through the hood with an adjustable hitch on the rear.
To control it I went with a futaba radio. Mike uses it in competition at the
NR/CTPA and to date it has pulled 85 pounds for 29 feet 10 3/4 of an inch.
