CAP IS BACK

WHAT IS CAP AND WHAT IS BACK?
In partnership with the County of Huron and the Huron County Library it is my pleasure to announce in partnership to the Clinton and Zurich Public Library and its affiliates that C.A.P. is back! The Community Access Program is a Government of Canada initiative, administered by Industry Canada, which aims to provide Canadians with affordable public access to the Internet and skills they need to use it effectively. The program plays a crucial role in bridging the digital divide by encouraging on-line learning and literacy and promoting various levels of Canadian E-Commerce.

WHO IS CAP INTENDED FOR?
Everyone and anyone, of very age, level of computer and internet knowledge; from children to adults to seniors.

WHO DOES CAP?

The Government of Canada, Industry Canada, Ontario Library Association, County of Huron and the Clinton and Zurich Public Library have hired five students across the County to teach those interested.

E-COMMERCE?
Small businesses across Canada are turning to various ways of internet connectivity to support their striving businesses. There are a variety of different ways to expand your company’s development and E-Commerce is definitely one of them.  Creating and managing a website for your company is complex but with our C.A.P. help, it will be worth-while.

WHERE IS CAP AVAILABLE?
All the libraries in the County of Huron are offering CAP training to members of the system.  CAP is free of charge and training sessions are available on an appointment-only basis so please call in advance for best availability.  Please book your appointment today at your nearest library.
