| These are stories that I have written. Feel free to take a gander and e-mail me with constructive criticism. If you think it's good, thank you, and I appreciate that, but please ask me things that weren't clear, critique my style, anything constructive. I'm not doing something right in my work, and I need to nail it so I can get published. NOTICE: I post new pieces once I have retired them from submission. (See bottom of page) You can track the status of my newest works in Published.

Favourites
"Saving The Soldier" - Literary/War - Short Story Personally, I consider this one of my best works. Lots of things you have to get from it, lots of things you need to chew on. Very stylistic, a good taste of how I write.
"Unanswered" - Literary/Dramatic - Short Short Story This one, I think is quite good. Didn't win in the contest I sent it off to, though, and I've had "cliché" belted across my backside for this one by a reader, but she gave the ending praise. I think you will like it, too.
"Missing Pieces" - SF - Short Short Story One of my favourite assignments from Long Ridge Writer's Group. Keeps getting rejected, so I will let everyone see it in freeform . . . so to speak.
NOTICE: FNASR {First North American Serial Rights}, which magazines purchase with my story, prohibits publishing new work before the respective magazine does. To be safe, I won't place work on my website that I am in the process of submitting, since such placements could be seen as self-publishing. Copyright © Clint Hall, 2007. All rights reserved. [Home]
