Stars & Stripes Defensive Arts was founded in 1998 by Masters Clint Hale and Chris McMahan to serve Clarksville and surrounding communities. Classes are offered in both Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido through the Clarksville, Tennessee YMCA. 

Stars & Stripes Defensive Arts sees as its mission to increase awareness of the physical, mental, and moral benefits of martial arts practice, and to improve the physical fitness, discipline, and technical competency of its students.
