| Day 1: The Gathering Climbers meet at Base Camp I: Hornet's Nest on Mecklenburg Scout Reservation. |
| "To the Chimneys for Ground & Anchor school and then Belay on!" |
| Day 2: Ground School & to Linville Gorge We set out by van, arrive and hike the ridge to our first climbs at The Chimneys |

| "Climb on! It's single pitch, double rappel and mock lead day." |
| Day 3: Table Rock Climbing We set two routes- the first pitch of Jim Dandy and Peek-a-boo. Scouts climbed with a rack on Jim Dandy and mock leads. |

| Day 4: Devil's Cellar More anchor practice - then we take on multiple climbing routes, rappel to a cave and slide on the traverse. All while gazing across the Blue Ridge mountains or into the gorge at the Linville River. |

| Day 5: Multipitches Climbers follow their lead and learn mountaineering skills & rope management on a 2 pitch climb and seem to soar with the birds on a 3 pitch climb with full daypacks. |
| "5.7-5.10d! Something to challenge everyone on the last climbing day!" |
| Day 6: The Final Challenge Lay backs & sheer challenge. Try the face or crack routes of variation and test your toes on "What's Up Doc?" a 5.10d route! Think you can't? Never say "I can't" here! We visited Outward Bound on our way back to camp. |
| Day 7: Homeward Bound Up for breakfast and pack the cars... then it's tough to pull away from friends you've had such an experience with... those you've encouraged and whom have encouraged you as you pushed your limits daily to higher excellence in climbing skills. |
