NOTE: When using ICS, you'll need to install 2 LAN cards. This makes a "dual-LAN card" setup. One of which will be used to connect your PC to the ISP and the other will be used to share the internet access with the rest of the workstations in you Local Area Network. By the way, with "dial-up" connections, you only need 1 LAN card since the dial-up modem is usually connected to a serial interface port (COM1).
TIPS: Use different models of LAN cards to prevent hardware or software driver conflicts. Nonetheless, with 3Com LAN cards, you can use the same model for the two cards.
