NOTE: Some LAN cards with similar models conflict with each other when used in tandem. Be sure that you are using 2 different models of LAN cards, unless its made by 3Com. See Figure 1.
- The first TCP/IP should be used for the DSL connection. This IP address is provided by Supercom or Greendot.
- The second TCP/IP should be used for your private IP (192.168.0.1). The following are the correct setting;
- TEST YOUR SETTING ( First TCP/IP ):
a) Try testing your LAN card by pinging its IP address (public IP). This is the one given by Greendot. If you get a reply, then your LAN card is functioning properly.
b) Try testing your link to PT&Ts DSL network by pinging the Gateway address. If you get a reply, then your LAN card is functioning properly. If not, then something is wrong with your connection or settings.
c) Try to test if you can access the Internet by browsing through it. Try opening www.yahoo.com. If you are able to do so, then go to the next step. If you cant browse the Internet, then re-check you IP Address (the one provided by Greendot/Supercom) again. Try contacting Greendot for assistance.
