You got questions? We got answers. Email us, and we will post it here, with an answer. Please... PLEASE, use proper English, and not slang, l33t, or Japanese. While we have a limited bit of Nihongo knowledge, it's not enough. *shrugs* If you don't use proper grammar, we will insult you in the FAQ. Q. How did this get started? A. In the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one to pay respects to those that came before them. In many cases, mimicking is the best complement. And, in that fashion, Cliche Quest was born. One day (August 9), The Pope IMed Frisco and myself with an idea; a webcomic to mimic not only the great RPGs that are rotting our brain, but also great webcomics like 8-Bit Theater, and MegaTokyo (although I call that webmanga). In response, the three of formed a buddy chat on AIM/AOL, and began brainstorming ideas. After an hour of perverted jokes 'Your Mamma' insults, and lots of caffeine, we agreed on the basics of Cliche Quest. Q. Who are the three of you? A. The Pope (Zach Woods), Frisco (Brandon Walsh), and Fenris (Me, Preston Kussmann), are three complete losers in the Southeastern part of Virginia. We are in a quasi-band called 'Dissonance of the Malcontents', we are addicted to Comedy Central, and worship J.R.R Tolkien as the one true idle God. Pope and I play a small bit of Dungeons and Dragons 3e, while Frisco and I (and sometimes Zach) play Alleria. And we all want to murder the creator of EverCrack. All in all, we are your three typical introverted, perverted, RPGing losers. Q. Will you ever link to me? A. Why not? For now, if you email us a link, and a description of your webcomic/webmanga, and we like it, we'll link to it. Don't ever call us mean. Q. Will Cliche Quest have an ongoing story? A. Yes, to some degree. Don't expect anything along the lines of the greatest RPG ever made, Final Fantasy VII. This is more of a 'sidequest, followed by sidequest, followed by sidequest' kind of thing. It remains to be seen if we will ever end the story. Q. FFVII is the best ever! WTF! How can you not like Dragon Warrior/Quest! A. Back in the days of the 8bit NES and 16bit SNES/Sega Genesis, Dragon W/Q was awesome. However, it's called evolution, Holmes. (Note from the Pope: We like FF6 almost as much as, and, in Frisco's case, probably more than, FF7.) Q. Are you aware that Geocities sucks? A. Yes. However, our soon-to-be sever is slow. As of August 9, please give us 4-8 weeks. |
