as she would get. She always felt half frozen, she had to eat her beetles raw. The next morning she flew lightly down and thought to herself, 'This has to stop' then she quietly strolled up to the dragon and pleaded these very words, 'Please, please can I have a tiny little bit of fire?'

'NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' Yelled dragon

she slowly and miserably turned back and silently flew to her tree. That Monday the jungle was woken by a terrible, agonising groan. Dragon was spitting and blowing fire all over the place. Someone had put her in a bad mood. When she noticed that everyone was staring at her she stuttered, 'I was..... Err...... trying to make more fire for myself and you can't have any!'

'Liar, liar, pants on fire'.

Time passed and Scarlet bird was always waiting, waiting, until one Friday, at lunchtime, dragon was having her lunch when Scarlet bird saw it.... FIRE!!!'

Dragon had put fire down and left it alone. Scarlet bird flashed down from her ledge and snatched up the fire and hid there with it, dragon could do nothing.
