| He marched in and begged Komodo dragon for fire. Guess what? "GET LOST TUCY!" roared Komodo dragon, then the Toucan panicked and flapped away. Weeks passed and toucan still had no fire but he was watching and waiting, waiting and watching until it was time. Time to do it. One sunny afternoon Komodo was playing under toucan's tree "Throw fire, catch it" laughed Komodo . It was time to catch it, toucan budged along AND CAUGHT THE FIRE!! Komodo felt very dumb waiting for the fire to come down! Then toucan put the fire in the heart of every tree, he felt very proud and put the fire on his beak and it became beautiful . He swooped down and screeched to Komodo "Stay down there and don't move from earth." then toucan, he flapped away. And to this day komodo lives in a cave as toucan told her to, and toucan he lives in the sky and if you're lucky you can see him taking fire to the trees in a rainbow line!!!! THE END |
| Once long, long ago in the time of dreams was the beautifulest, emerald jungle. In it was a big Komodo dragon, she was snappy, evil, rough, tough, bossy and mean. She had something blazing and bright that no one else had. FIRE! FIRE! Everyday she roared so loudly that no one else came out of their homes, "FIRE IS ALWAYS MINE, ALWAYS MINE." In a nearby bare tree lived a wise and young toucan. He was clever, fast thinking, playful and loved singing! Sadly, he as well had no fire and couldn't cook his beetles or do anything with fire. Then one sunny morning toucan whizzed out of the trees and landed at Komodo dragon's cave |
