The Dawning....

 There is a new day dawning on the horizon,
   Pain is slowly fading,
     Light is coming to me again,
 

       The lies, the pain, are slowly fading,
  Fading away just as our love...
 

    Floating away,
         Rising above,
            The lack of care,
                The lack of love...

Just as the night is black and cold,
  Our lovc it seems,
     Has followed that path.

  I'm leaning on God,
  Growing and learning,
     Feeling like maybe someday...
          Maybe,
 I will be able to give my heart again.....

New light is on the horizon,
  A new day is dawning,
    The pain it seems is slowly fading,
         The night is almost over,
             As the sun comes over the horizon.
