Jeremy had his own band called Cyclone and was the leader and guitarist. He had also included Julia in his band as their lead singer. Their band was like a all-music band with jazz, pop and rock as their main stream. In school, Jeremy was not very popular but was good-looking in such a way that many girls liked him. Julia was in their school newspaper board and was in charge of covering news on public relations(which was kinda ironic since she wasn't popular).
"So cat, how's your loverboy?" Jeremy teased as he popped a biscuit in his mouth and sat back to enjoy the movie. Excited to talk about her guy, Julia gushed," He's definitely wonderful. His kisses are soo sweet that i could be lost in it."He rolled his eyes at her exaggerration and asked," ya ya. pretty boy got such impact on you huh. So you really like this guy?" She nodded quickly. "But how well do you really know him?" He added on. "Well, more than you know thats definitely." She answered. "so caring and so handsome," she continued wistfully as a lovesick expression came over her face.
Jeremy resisted the urge to gag. 'I couldn't understand for the life of me why girls are sooo emotional.' he thought to himself. "You better be careful. You might not know how he's really like before its too late." He warned her. He hadn't had the chance to see this loverboy but he'd soon. 'I don't think i can trust that guy, it's probablly wisest to warn Julia first.'
"Oh please, don't give me that again. You're so like Jade. Everytime when i talk to her about Ted, she'd start lecturing me or just stay silent. I'm so sick of you all suspicious nature." Julia retorted angrily.
"Relax, cat. I just don't want you to get cheated." Jeremy said apologetically. Her hard expression softened a little as she mumbled," Ok i understand." They spent the rest of the movie in jests and teasing.In actual fact, Ted was a college guy at Sumerton College not far from JUlia's house and she had passed by it several times. She didn't know much of Ted except that he was in year two and led a debating team. He didn't tell her anything about his family or his past. Whenever they met up, they just caught a movie or just made out on the beach.
Julia assumed that Ted was more experienced than her as he was older than her and so she let him to take the lead. Although they didn't talk over phone often, Julia still felt fortunate to have a boyfriend like him.
Jeremy was concerned about JUlia as he watched her carefully out of a corner of his eye. 'If he dare to hurt her, i'd take it out with him,' Jeremy vowed to himself. He had a girlfriend-Jasmine now but his girlfriends usually changed regularly. Though Julia chided him many times on that, he still couldn't commit himself to one girl yet. Oh well, nothing i could do about that for now.
