Does Man Ever Know?
A Poem By Melissa
LION  EYES
Desperity beyond reason                       My soul seems to cry treason          Fighting and warring on                     Till the very brink of early dawn               Will this fight not cease ?                   Hath the heavens no release?                  I hear a distant trimpet call                  As more and more wounded men fall       As they fight across the raging field          Not a single man will yield            Ripping and slashing                          Tearing and bashing                               Fighting fist to fist                                  Sword to sword                                       Blow after blow                                      Does this red liquid blood ever cease to flow?                                                      Does any man ever know?

I behold your deep brown eyes   And your warm stare                 It melts my heart, my soul, the ice within me                            So take great care                      Your honeyed gossamer words reach me                                   They awaken lost, jailed, emotions with in me                  Should I leave  myself in recklass abandon?                     Or should I stay steadfast and fight the wanton (within)?         You disturb  my sleep dear lion eyes                                          Are you an angel or a devil in disguise?                                  I see this when I look into your lion eyes!
The                    Maiden's                Spell
ALONE
         A Poem by Melissa
         A Poem by Melissa
I seek an unknown love        As if it could be sent from heaven above                         My soul yearns for the unknown warmth of another  But at lass we will never meet each other                             I cry now as I sit rocking       And yet some how I know that you'll never find my state shocking                        My sad heart seeks you         My knees go weak for very few                                        I live in this lost river of lonliness                               Sinking ever deeper in those deep dark depths                   The gods laugh as if to wound this virgin maiden's heart                                     But I'll fight fast and furious before I leave my only chance at love depart             The sword is cast deep in the stone                                      And so my story is told the gods gave me my life to live but only ALONE!
Time's tempest undoes a virgin maiden's spell                                    Her innocence once tested is lost in the place where men dwell            Her fight to remain pure                   Is lost when no more she can endure                                                Her once bright, shining, silver tarnished                                            And her once strenuous tension is vanished                                             And once her honor becomes unbound                                            A fast new friend is found                A wild, ravenous, hellion is released                                              And she find's herself part taking in a new feast                                    The innocence corrupts                   Once her new found emotions erupts                                                This once forlorn bride                    Has found a new purchase "Lust's Rapturous Ride!"
