ENIGMA
A Poem by Melissa
I see a distant past with no future                                   I dream in the darkness at my minds rest                       I fight for the knowing and the knowing to fight             I live in a land of darkness   Can you see me?                  No you can't!
I'm forever lost to you and to you alone                         I'm an enigma, a puzzel, a   well of darkness                    You can never have me nor  ever solve me                        For I am .....ALONE
TIME
A Poem by Melissa
Time triumphs beyond the glistening sands                                                        It seems to want more than my life commands                                                It sets it's eyes on one precious jewel         And then it hammers away at it just to be cruel                                                        It chips and grinds the stone down             Till the point man is ready to drown          The seasons pass wild and true                  To make what's to be out of me and you   And as i look in my mirror my favorite looking glass                                              I see the true reality that has come to pass Age, wit, and wisdom devine                     Has grown through those sands of time.
      LADY
        A Poem by Melissa
I look at lady's picture and smile                                        Her face seems to haunt me after a while                              You compared her great beauty to mine                         As if my looks are as devine    Your hapless flattery makes me blush                                   Every compliment makes my skin a red flush                         You try to free my tortured soul                                          But it's still a deep dark hole   I study my reflection to see what you see                             But the only glimpse I get is of sad me                                      Am I the lady in the picture and don't know it?                   Or am I a sainted beauty and can't show it ?                          Lady can you tell me?              Lady can you help me?          As I fall deeper still                  I realise I took one last bitter pill                                          I am she and she is me              I am lady and the all she can be!
Vampire Life
A Poem by Melissa
On winter's cold, dark night I hunger            I feast on the warm, ruby blood of the younger                                                        My white , ivory, talonous teeth sink into the soft , sinuey tissues of your neck             I laugh softly to myself thinking,"You thought my kiss would be just a peck!"        I feast on your blood until you are an inch away from loosing your life                          But at lass I'm humbled by your great beauty and give you the immortal gift of vampire life                                                 You suck my blood greedily, ravenously, I force you to stop                                          I feel as if my veins are ready to "POP!"
So welcome to the darkside my friend          For you life in daylight's rays shall be no more for ye shall live in death's dark door forever more without mercious end!
