On our way ...

This page is dedicated to the Grads of 2000, whom have pulled me through some glorious and inglorious times.  Thanks for being there for me.  I hope you enjoy some of the things I've written.  May our paths cross again.

So we meet again
Another time once more over the cyber highway
But nothing quite the same as
Meeting in the halls day-by-day
Laugh-by-Laugh
Tear-by-tear
So we meet again
Another time once more without voices
But words in substitution
for the sometimes friendly, sometimes hostile
glance at each other
Minute-by-minute
Beat-by-beat
In the familiar building known as school
And each time we glance
And each time we talk
We fail to appreciate
just how much a meeting can do for friends
As the seas churn and and the tide swells
And the final, resounding clang of the schooltime bell
reminds us
that we can no longer meet on the parallel tracks of high school
But that we may cross once again on the pristine but independent
tracks of college and university.
And so we meet again.

The Future Belongs to Those Who Believe

Somewhere's there a river
Looking for a stream
Somewhere's there a dreamer
Looking for a dream
Somewhere's there's a drifter
Trying to find his way
Somewhere someone's waiting
To hear Somebody say

I Believe in You

Some of us can't move
Paralyzed with fear
Everybody's listening
Because We all Need to Hear

I Believe in You

And all I want to Do
Is Help You
Believe in You.

To the Graduating Class of 2000,
Congratulations and Best Wishes for your Future.

Life will no longer be the same, and like the tide of the ocean, things come and go with such delicacy and yet... such immediacy.  Not that I bid you farewell forever, but I think we know that with change, comes faces anew with joy,  direction and anticipation for what's to come in our still young, innocent lives.  Although Shakespeare once proclaimed that "Parting is such sweet sorrow,"... let's not leave it that.
Parting is such sweet grace
To Welcome the Future.

Hope we keep in touch.  Always feel free to contact me...
I wanted you to know... that I enjoyed your company and I enjoyed your friendship over our years in high school.  Like all long-lasting relationships, there have been peaks and valleys, but through it all, we accomplished it, and we accomplished it together.

Cheers -)
