Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to  Rainbow Bridge.  There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals that had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor;  those that were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.  The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing;  they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance.  His bright eyes are intent;  his eager body quivers.  Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again.  The happy kisses rain upon your face;  your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes off your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together...

IT'S A BOY!!!
Here's the pics of Rainy's new foal, born September 26, 2003 at 2:30am.  Pictures taken the next day.
Sadly, 6 days after the colt was born, he passed over the Rainbow Bridge.
Little Buddy
In Memory of Rainy's Baby

If something's sweet you will know,
Just take a look and it will show.

It's okay that our Little Guy's gone,
It's okay, you've done nothing wrong.

Watch him run wild as the wind blows,
Watch him run crazy as the stream flows.

He's so warm and cuddly, nobody will forget
our Little Buddy

Love,
Jessica

This is a poem written by one of my students, Jessica Beavers, 10 years old,
in memory of our beautiful "Little Buddy"
In Memory
Clear Creek Farm Equine Rescue says a fond farewell to Lily, a 2 y/o Missouri Fox Trotter filly that was sent to us for a 30 day evaluation.  Her health deteriorated while she was here and with the advice of our vet and her owner, we decided her quality of life was too poor and had her put to sleep.  She will be missed!
