This here Tiger is a 1998 model, the last year the T4 Tiger was made. Triumph made quite some modifications on this final year.

It's said to be better than most touring bikes for... touring. Well I couldn't say, having no experience with a touringbike, but it certainly takes us all places in comfort and style. Besides that it has also become my daily transport to work, as the western parts of Holland clutter up with traffic more every year.

And the looks... well I always liked these looks... but it seemed that one would only buy one with serious off-roading in mind. And it seemed foolish to me to leave a perfectly good road. But as it happens, an oncoming car once did encourage me to do some off-roading, which the Tiger absorbed very dignified. So another territory lies ahead... beyond the end of the road.
