Claybrough Park Hanging By A Moment " Monty " was hand reared due to his mum not wanting him . He had a very rough start to life . He was taken to the Vets in a very sorry state . He was cold and had a grey tongue and gums . We didn't think he would last the 3o minutes into town . Monty was put on a drip and stayed a few nights. Even the Vet said his chance of survival was pretty slim . The next day he surprised us all by standing and whinnying to be fed . We were feeding 7 pet lambs at the time , and were surprised how little and how often a foal fed. He came to work with me everyday and slept in front of our fire . He played with "Bambi" so that he would remember he was a pony , and slept with our dog Darcy . He is now 15 months old and doing well . Monty will never be a show pony , he is more like a pet dog . He really loves a cuddle , and will rest his head on your shoulder or lap and close his eyes whilst you love him . 62.2 cm as a yearling ! |

She is now 83.5 cm tall . Flick has been shown successfully , although it would be so much easier if she would concentrate on what she is doing , rather that what is going on around her !!! lol She achieved Reserve Champion Female twice as a yearling . Rising 3 this year . |
