| Well this is the last of the foals for 2003 . Three Pinto fillies for Claybrough Park and One Pinto filly for Tahwari . Jules has PTIF to Bitlow Silver Star for a 2004 foal . Our last foal , Dark Angel , has quite a story about her birth . After being up all night and pushing Dazzler away from the carport onto the grass ... I thought I would go inside , shower and get the kids organized for school . This was 6:30 AM . Alister called from outside to say Dazzler had foaled . I had turned the foal alarm off as I was with her all night . When I went out , Alister was on his hands and knees in the carport . Dazzler was with him watching . She had had the foal under our Nissan Patrol !!! Her paddock name is " Diesel " because that's what she smelt of . The kids have called her " Puddle of Mudd " lol Mum and Bub bonded straight away after a bit of a check and clean up . Foaling never seems to be uneventful ... does it ? |
