About myself...
Hello. My name is Claudia Beteta, and I'm from Lima, Peru. There are five people in my family. I'm the youngest in the family, and my oldest brother is ten years older than I. Recently, he got married and last year had my youngest nephew. My sister is nine years older, and she has a son who is eleven years old. My father is dean of the Public University of Engineering of my country, and my mother is home maker.
Hobbies
I like listening to music, dancing, and eating chocolates. I used to go out with my friends and hang around, and sometimes we went dancing too, but now, I only enjoy going to see movies because life here is quieter than in my country, and I don't know too many people.
Goals
I graduated from Female Private University in my country in nutrition and dietetics and also studied a major in nutrition in sports at the same university. I love my career, but there isn't too much information about children's nutrition, besides malnutrition, one of the most common nutritional problems in my country. Problems like overweight or obesity, aren't very unusual, so I decided to study a major in nutrition and pediatrics. The University of Utah teaches it, and fortunately, my sister and nephew live here, so right now I'm living with them and studying English at the English Language Institute (ELI) at the University of Utah to improve my English and prepare myself to study there.
