The year 2002 was celebrated by larkanians as a centenary of Larkana, for Larkana completed a hundred year as a district that year. It had been proclaimed district in August 1901 and started functioning in 2002. Throughout this centennial period Larkana witnessed many hot and cold days at political front that has now become the part of history. Many epoch - making personalities took birth on its land in that century and contributed imminsely in different fields of life so much so that their services were not confined to this district only but the country and in some cases world was the limit. Education has also heen a priority in this district which is manifested from its intellectual lot spread all over the country since long. The credit of creating awareness, enilightenment and liking for education amongst people of this part of the country goes to many a selfless individual and the institution in the district who worked devotedly in past era and likes of those who are also striving for it presently . The second issue of the Explorer is our calculated stride to that count though it is like a drop in ocean of printed material meant for advancement of creativity and ingenuity in our younger generation. Yet we are hopeful.
