Dr.Ayaz Qadri Remembered
Aliterary gathering in memory of Dr.Ayaz Qadri the renowned Shindi writer and former Chairman of Sindhi Department , University of Karachi was held in Knowledge Centre on 15 December 2002 Mr. Sobho Gianchandani presided over it while seasoned artist Rizwan Umrani, and Jam Waqar Qadri were the chief guest and guest of honour respectively.
Dr.Bashir Ahmed Shaad, Mohammad Ali Pathan, Ahsan Danish, and Mukhtair Samo threw light on the literary services of Dr.Qadri.
Meelad Celebrated
Girl Student of Knowledge Centre celebrated Meelad-ul-nabi on 3 January 2003 with great religious zeal and best. Ms Naheed Khokher Recited verses from holy Quran while Shazia Bhatti, Naseem Bhatti, Nuzahat, Faiza Mahesar, Freeda, Mariam, Nikhat, Shaheena and Sajida presented naat and durud. In the end they prayed for the well being of country and the welfare of umah.
Intra-classes competition
Intra-classes competition was held on 02 January 2003.The student of different classes actively participated in speech competition, singing competition and tableaus. The topic for speech was "responsibilities of a good citizen".
The function was presided voer by prof. Mukhtiar Samo, the honorary Director of KCL. Mr Mohammad Panjal Sangi, Secretary Federation of NGOS Sindh was chief quest and Prof: Jam Jamali, the honorary guest on the occasion. The students who secured positions in speech contest were: Mansoor Tunio 1st Position, Waseem Abro 2nd and Waqar Ali 3rd position. Other who spoke on the topic were: Adeel Ahmed Jatoi and Allah Dino.
In Singing Sarfraz Jatoi secured 1ST position, Mohammad Ghufranulah 2nd And Shazad Abbasi 3rd position. The performers of the tableau were Ghullam Nabi, Gad Hussain and Hamid Ali. In the end , the chief guest distributed prizes and appreciated the outstanding performance of students in academic as well as cocurricular activities.
