Here's the story on this one:  My father owned a long-bed 58 IH for years.  The rear end went out on it and he couldn't find one.  One day I was over at Johns mother Lucy's house and noticed that the truck that had been sitting out in their driveway for years was an old IH.  I figured out that the pumpkin would fit into my dads IH so we made a deal.  When my father and I went to tow the thing home the brake lines were clogged up with a pasty, rusty goo. While we were clearing up that problem I decided that this truck could probably get home under its own power.  We put the fuel pump and battery from dads truck on and fired it up.  It's been running ever since.  The 58 was sold for what it cost to buy the 61.
