Hi, my name is Alan, I'm the webmaster. This site is a collection of photos of old cars and trucks. Our main purpose is to show the beauty in these old vehicles, a piece of American/ Industrial art.  There are those who like the look of a completely restored vehicle or a chopped hot rod truck the best.  I appreciate these styles too, but my favorite type of picture is like the old forgotten  36 Dodge rust-bucket sitting in the weeds with it's natural patina.  Generally, cars are my thing.

John, on the other hand, seems to have a love for old trucks exampled by his first love, the light peach 58 Chevy, shown with the unknown dog guarding it.  Our plan is to have all types here.  You will find foreign vehicles here in the future but don't expect too many Porches or Ferraris.  I know where a rusty Vaux-Hall is sitting, waiting to pose for me.
I feel especially lucky to have access to almost an unlimited number of all of the different types of classic American vehicles right here in Southern Colorado.  As I can afford the time, I will document as many of these vehicles as possible on Classic Driver.  There are also plans for informational articles very soon.  As for the commercial links: Please feel free to show your support by using them! I use and like most of these.  If you haven't used Net2Phone you really should try it.  It allows you to make telephone calls from your computer.  Sign up for free and it can save you a bundle on telephone calls.  There are a lot of great ideas floating around at Classic Driver and we could use some support to help implement them.
Many of these photographs were taken with a Sony Mavica digital others with an old Minolta XG-M and published to Kodak photo CDs.  I primarily use Frontpage 2000 to create and publish these pages.  If you have any questions or comments please feel free to email.  Thank-you for your visit and enjoy!
