Hello and welcome to my page. I have been tracing my family tree for several years and I am attempting to write a book about my ancestors for my family. I have collected a lot of data over the years, and on this page I hope to be able to share it with you or exchange ideas and information. Have look at my strays page; one of your missing ancestors could be there. I am open to suggestions to improve this site and I hope to amend it and add to it on a regular basis.
My Great Grandfather, Harry Berry, came to Great Rissington, as an Apprentice Baker, to Thomas Mace, around 1891. He was born in Swinbrook, Oxfordshire, just over the border, in 1872, one of 12 children.

Thomas Mace was the village Baker in Great Rissington. He inherited the business from his father John, who was also a Baker. Thomas never married and his Bakery passed down to my Gt Gt Grandmother, Sarah Ann Smith nee Mace. (Read her Will on the Wills page).

This page has details and extracts of some Wills of my ancestors. (It is, however still under consruction and I hope to update it in the near future.)
Have you lost the trail or are you missing a connection? I have come across quite a few people over the years who were either living or working away from home. Servants, Tenant Farmers or Grooms. You may find someone here, or you may be able to pass on a name for me to add to the list.
