"Hitler once called himself Europe�s greatest actor because he fooled so many people into giving him power.
He once boasted that his empire the Third Reich would last for a thousand years.
In fact it lasted for 12 years, but in those 12 short years all over the world millions of people died in the
war Hitler had started.
Europe�s greatest actor had become the world�s greatest mass murderer."
 | Birth
Adolf Hitler was born on April 20th 1889 in a small town near Linz in Austria.
His father was 52 years old when Hitler was born, but died when Hitler was a young boy. Hitler�s
mother died when he was 18 years old.
Adulthood
Hitler joined the army in 1914 to get away from his horrible life.
Hitler decided to become a politician, and found it very easy to get people who where fed up and angry to join his party,
The Nazi Party.
By 1923 there were 55000 Nazi�s and the quick success went straight to his head.
Hitler was sent to prison in November that year for trying to take power in Munich.
Hitler became head of state in less than 10 years.
He couldn�t believe how easy it was, all his enemies began to disappear into concentration camps and within a few years
he had total power.
When Hitler had killed all his enemies in Germany, he began to bully other countries.
September 1939 World War 2 began, it was going well for Germany. Poland fell in 19 days, Holland, Belgium, Luxemburg and
France all fell within 6 weeks.
The success went to Hitler�s head, and he attacked Russia in 1941 although in 1939 he had promised not to attack them.
Britain was the only country in Europe still holding out against Hitler�s forces.
The Germans were outnumbered, to make matters worse for Hitler France joined the allies, from then on Germany was bound
to lose the war.
He wasn�t going to admit defeat; he chose to kill more Jews in the concentration camps using the death chambers.
He planned new attacks with armies that didn�t exist.
When Russia was in Berlin Hitler began to give in.

Death
In the early hours on 29th April 1945, Hitler married Eva Braun.
The next day Hitler and Eva went into their room while a few followers waited outside.
After a while the followers went inside to find Hitler on the floor laid covered in blood, he had shot himself,
Eva also dead had taken poison.
They took the bodies outside where they were covered in petrol and burned, announced on the radio was
