General FAQ
Q: How to play?
A: Congratulations! You are now a vampire in a vast 2D city riddled with guilds, pubs, banks, pawn shops, magic shops, transit stations, humans, and thousands of others just like you. In the City View, you will see a 3x3 grid. Each box is a square in the city. Click the "move here" links in the surrounding squares to move. When you land on a square with another vampire or a human, click the Drink link to drain a pint of blood. The game will keep track of how much blood you've drunk and you will be rewarded a new rank at certain intervals of blood points.
Q: Stolen Coins?
A: Vampires can steal from one another once they attain the Thievery power. The only way to prevent your coins from being stolen is to put them in a bank.
Q: Vampire Hunters?
A: Vampire Hunters are dangerous, especially for young vampires. They are capable of draining hundreds of your BPs and won't go down without a fight. Still, if you manage to kill one, you are likely to receive a hefty number of coins. If you want to kill it, continue to approach it each time it runs away. The Perception power can help identify hunters.
Q: Ranks?

A: Items may be purchased from shops or found. The full list of items can be found here.
Q: Pub drinks?
A: Buying more expensive drinks increases your chances that the bartender will divulge useful information.
Q: What does "Caelestis" mean?
A: This is a Latin word which means heavenly, or ethereal. We are not claiming to be gods, but the setting of heaven is fitting for a clan that favors peace.
Q: I need help with a Quest!
A: The Clan is more than happy to assist members with Quests. Please email us at [email protected] and we will help you.
Q: I've heard of some 3rd party software that is supposed to help me play the game. Does the Clan have any thoughts or recommendations about that?
A: Clan policy is "use at your own risk." We cannot endorse, recommend, or guarantee any 3rd party software.
Q: Does being a member of this clan mean I can not attack other vampires?
A: We encourage members to withold their wrath unless struck first by another vampire. Under NO circumstances may a Clan member taunt another guild or otherwise attempt to initiate a clan war. Such a member will NOT be supported in battle and be suspended from the Clan.
Q: Does this clan have any alliances or enemies?
A: Not currently, but we are friendly to all peaceful clans.
Q: Can I donate to the Clan?
A: Time is money, as they say, and it takes time to build and maintain the site. We are currently setting up a Paypal donation system and are gathering ideas for rewarding supportive clan members.
