This is where you get all of the info of how to commission me to make your costume, wig, and/or prop!
Step one: See if I have any available time blocks in the month you need your costume. If it says booked and your costume is needed within the first TWO WEEKS of that month, than I cannot take your order. If your costume is needed within the LAST two weeks of that month, and it's not horribly complicated, I may be able to complete it in time.
Step two: Email me. Your email should include the character's name, reference pictures, where they came from, reference pictures, your name, reference pictures, your need by date, reference pictures, any preferences you may have towards fabrics and/or allergies you may have to certain fabric (I hate to make you a costume with wool in it, if you're allergic to wool), oh, and did I mention reference pictures? By now you can tell that reference pictures are extremely important; I am too busy with commissioning to really seek good reference pictures. Good reference pictures should have different views of the character so that I can make your costume as accurate as possible from every angle.
Step Three: Wait for my reply. Sometimes I may be unable to take your commission; if this occurs, I'll include links to those who may be able to take your commission!!!
IMPORTANT DETAILS I have to be given at least 3 weeks for props and weapons and AT LEAST 2 months for costumes. (Unless you have a simple costume, in which I may only need two to three weeks.) Some costumes require more time, so keep this in mind when you try and place an order. I do two week prop and weapon rush jobs and 1 month costume rush jobs for an extra fee. This fee is retribution from the sleep deprivation I suffer from when I take on rush orders. (I've stayed up THREE DAYS straight before just to finish rush orders for the same convention!) I will not take a rush job for wigs and can require up to three months to work on them.
If you wish to commission me, click Contact Me. Please be sure to put the character's name and the word "COMMISSION" in the subject line!!! |

As a footnote, June is booked for the first two weeks. This is a hotspot for me since many people need costumes and such for A-Kon and I can personally hand them their bought items with no shipping charge. However, I can take one more commission for wigs and three more commissions for props. If you commission me for a weapon and you want me to take it to the security booth, I'll charge an extra fee of five dollars. Remember though, A-kon security is VERY anal about weapons and they may choose to keep the weapon, so you might just want to find me and get your weapon checked out yourself. It's cheaper and if the weapon gets taken up, you'll understand. (All guns come with a government safety orange typ. It's removable, so you can take it off fot pictures. Also, if your weapon gets taken up, it's not my fault. A-kon security almost didn't let me walk around with my Giant Ukyo Spatula and it couldn't hurt a soul. The thing was made from matboard and hitting someone with it would cause the spatula more damage than the person, but the security staff was still wary. In other words: It's not my responsibility or your responsibility of the weapon gets taken up. I'd take it as a compliment, because that would mean my weapons are that realistic, but the con security is the only one to blame for bad weapon calls.)
