| August 6 , 2004 2 or 3 months ago I discussed with [ECP] Assassin about the posibility of merging both of our clans together as one. The -=16/43rd=- and [ECP] both have small but strong clans but have trouble getting things off the ground. By combining our forces I believe we would have one large clan with an active server every night only to draw in more recruits that will in the end build an even larger team. I believe that we would probably be moving to the [ECP]'s server as they can host 16 slots on a T1 connection and eliminate any sort of lag. If a merger were to go through we would also have to come up with a new tag to suit both clans. The purposed name is the 5th Special Forces "Devils Brigade" It is a combined Canadian- American Force. The fact sheet can be found at www.campbell.army.mil/5thsfg.htm There are many things to be worked out before a merger would take place so it could take some time if it were to take effect. Remember, this merger is just an idea and no changes will be made without the consent or approval of all my members. I would appreciate all of your input as this is a huge decision. Wallace |
| August 8 , 2004 I have inlisted our clan to participate in the Art Of War League. If you are interested on learning more about this league, rules and such you can visit their web site at www.artofwarleague.com This will create a lot of extra work for me setting up matches, scores and what not, so I hope that I can count on you boys and girls to attend these matches to make this a sucessfull season. Our first challenge will be with the East Coast Pimps [ECP], the purposed date will be Friday August the 13th, 8:00 PM Eastern time on their server. I will be needing a minimum of 5 members to meet the league requirments, so if you could notify me if you wish to attend, I can begin to set things up and confirm the date. | November 14 , 2004 Hey guys, here are the match results between the -=16/43rd=- and [ECP]. The -=16/43rd=- played an excellent match this time as we doubled the [ECP]'s kills in each of the maps!! Great job guys. I believe the next match will be held on Saturday November 27th against {bbf}, we will all have to practice to ensure another win. With a little practice I see no reason why we can't dominate the entire league, we are very skilled people . I am especially pleased with Flyman's performance. He played beautifully. He held an enemy position, and held it very well. He came out 18 and 13, positive 5, great accomplishment :)Thanks to those who could attend to make this a successfull night. Wallace |
