We had sorted everything out and it looked as though we were back together. We walked along the road back towards the hotel to meet the others, and then we were going to go to the interview. As we were walkingalong, Bryan's mobile started to ring, he answered it. "Hello? Oh, hi Mum!" He said, and started chatting, I tried not to listen to the conversation, but I couldn't help it. "Yeah, yeah, we saw it too. What?!Of course it's not true!" Bryan said, almost shouting. I guessed his mum was hassling him over the article. "Well, yeah, we are together now...but not then! Ummm, look , why don't we drop by the house tonight, both of us and we'll tell you exactly what happened, ok? Yeah, we'll be around about 7 if that's ok, see you then" he said and put his phone away.
"Was that your Mum?" I asked him. "Yeah, she saw the article and wanted to know what had happened." He explained, as we continued walking "I said we'd go to my parents house tonight and fill them in on everything." "Ok," I said "time to meet the family all ready?" I laughed. He stopped walking. "You don't mind, do you?" Bryan asked. "No, it's just that - we've only officially been 'together' for, oh, 10 minutes and its time to meet the family all ready. Come on, we'll be late for that interview."
We kept walking, and met the others outside the hotel. They all grinned when they saw us. We stood chatting for 10 minutes, then the van arrived to take us to the interview. Pnut, Nat and me sat around in the office, while the guys all went in a different room for their interview. About an hour later, they all came back out. "That went well." Shane said, and the others nodded their heads in agreement, except Bryan, he looked a bit uncomfortable about the whole thing. "Did something happen in there?" I asked him, as we walked on ahead of the others. "I got hassled about us, asking if all that stuff was true..." Bryan looked away and stopped walking "Look, don't be mad when you read the interview, but..." "Mad, why mad? What did you say?" "I told them we were just friends, nothing else" he explained, and started walking again, I stood there. He noticed I wasn't beside him and walked back over to me.
"Oh, ok. Why did you lie about it? Did Mark and Kian say they were just friends with Nat and Pnut?!" I said, and realised I was almost shouting, the others turned and looked at us. Bryan took me aside. "Well, no...but their situation is a bit different, don't you think?If I said that we were together, then people would believe everything that they had read, that I had caused you guys to split!" "But it's not true! Why can't we just be honest about everything?" "Because, it's not that simple, if people think I broke you guys up, with the circumstances and everything, I'll be the guy that broke up a happy little family"he said. "But it was the complete opposite, god, you tried to stop me finding out about the cheating at the club that night! I think we should just be honest about stuff!" I shouted.
"Keep your voice down, people are gonna hear you" he whispered angrily, grabbing my arm. "What's it gonna look like if people see us now? They'll think we've got a reason to lie about everything! You know what, maybe you should go and explain everything to your parents by yourself tonight!In case anyone sees us, you know!" I said sarcastically, and walked away from him. "Ally, don't be like that!" He shouted, but I just kept walking...

Chapter 17
...bryan...
I walked out of the building after her. God, I thought she would have understood. If we would have admitted we were together, people would have completely misunderstood the whole situation. I finally caught upwith her and grabbed her shoulder. "Get off me!" She shouted, she was really angry. "Hey," I said, "look, I was doing it for us, can't you see that?!" I shouted. "NO! What is lying gonna achieve, just leave me alone!" She shouted back, and started walking again. "Where are you going?" I asked her. "Back to the hotel, and you can forget me going to your parents tonight! You can lie to them on your own!"
I just stood there, she was so angry, she wasn't gonna listen to me, no matter how hard I tried. I didn't know if I should still go, without her. I thought about it as I walked back to the hotel, the others had all went into town for some shopping. I decided to go to my parents house alone, and try my best to explain everything that had happened over the past two weeks. I didn't know what I was gonna say if they asked why Ally wasn't there with me. Should I tell them she wasn't feeling well and lie, or tell them the truth, that we had fallen out, again. I still hadn't decided what to say as I drove up to my parents house. I had tried to talk to Ally at the hotel, convince her I had no other choice but to lie, and try to get her to come to my parents house with me. She wouldn't even open the door, so I stood there talking to the door like a fool. I was still doing it when the others came back. They just looked at me really sorry. I asked them if they could talk to her, because she wouldn't listen to me at all.
Finally, there I was, at the door. I rung the doorbell.After a few seconds my mum answered the door. "Bryan!" She said as she gave me a big hug, "don't just stand there! Come inside!" I walked inside, and saw dad coming out of the kitchen. "Hey there!" Dad said as he gave me a big hug too, I think they'd missed me when I was away. "where's Ally?" "Oh, she - she didn't feel too good, so I told her just to stay at the hotel, that you guy's would understand." I said, and felt guilty immediately for lying. "Oh no, is she ok?" Mum asked, as we walked into the sitting room. "Yeah, I think it's probably just a tummy bug or something, she wasn't well all day." "I suppose all of that stuff in the magazine didn't help." Dad said, as he sat down, and switched the tv off. That meant we were all gonna sit and talk, he always switched the tv off before giving me a lecture when I was little. "No, not really." I said, "God, what a day." "So...?" Mum said, her and dad both looked at me. I guessed now they wanted the explanation. "Ummm, geez, where do I start?" I said, really quietly. "What happened in Scotland, with you , Ally and this Derek guy? Did you and Ally - ?" Dad started. "NO! Of course not!" I said, kinda shouting, he looked shocked. "Sorry, I shouldn't have shouted." "So?" "Ok, I met Ally, when she and Derek were split up, then they got back together, and we were just friends, I swear, nothing more.Then , we were all at a club one night, and I saw Derek, with another girl,..." "And?" Dad asked. "I tried to stop her finding out,...but she did, and I was there, and then outside, well, you know all about the baby. I thought coming back to Ireland with me and the lads and her friends would be good for her. We didn't abandon him! We didn't even get together until today!" I explained.
"Oh right, it's just when we read that,...well, me and your dad, we didn;t know what to think. We should've know it was a lie." Mum said, "do you want a cup of tea or something?" She said, she stood up. "Yeah, sure" I said, just then the door bell rung. "I'll get that". I said, and walked out to the door. I opened it and got a shock.

Chapter 18
...bryan...
I opened the door to see Shane standing in the doorway. "Shane, what are you doing here?" I asked him. "Hey, thank god you're here, we've been trying to call you, but your mobile was switched off!" he said, he looked really worried about something. "Hi Shane, come in. I was just making a cup of tea." Mum said, as she appeared at the door behind me. "I can't, sorry, I just need to see Bryan" he said, "somethings happened."
"Is everything ok?!" I asked him, it must have been pretty serious to get him here, and to refuse a cup of tea from Mum. "I'll explain in the car!" He said, and waved goodbye to Mum. "Mum, ummm...look I'll call you later, and let you know what's happening" I said, as I gave her a hug. "Say goodbye to Dad for me." And with that we both took off to the car. Shane got in and sat in the drivers seat.
"Whats wrong?" I asked him "where are we going?" "To the hospital mate." He said. "Hospital?!, what's happened?" I said, nearly shouting. Shane explained what had happened.

I sat in the hotel room, still angry about Bryan lying, but the more I thought about it, the more I understood why he had done it. It wasn't fair on him, I had caused a lot of problems for him, just by dating him, and not just him, but maybe the others too. After all, image means a lot in this business, people's opinion of Bryan could make or break the band. I decided that I should go and talk to him about it, let him know that I agreed with him, and apologise for being a bitch earlier.
I was just getting ready to go to see him at his parents when there was a knock at the door. "Come in!" I shouted, while I grabbed my purse. "Hey" Nicky said walking into the room. "Oh, sorry, were you going to go out?" He asked. "Well, I was gonna go see Bryan and apologise for earlier." I said, sitting down on the bed. "I'm so glad you saw sense!" He said laughing as he sat down. "Honestly, you two! What you gonna fight about tomorrow?" "I've not decided that yet" I said, laughing.
"Oh, I'm so dumb, I don't even know his address!" "I do, come on, I'll take you up there if you want." He offered. "You wouldn't mind?Have you not got any plans for tonight?" I said, standing up. "No, me and Shane were just gonna go out for a drink. It only takes 15 minutes to drive to Bry's anyway, I'll drive you ." He said, standing up too. "OK...let's go" I said, and we both walked out of the door.
We got downstairs when Nicky started searching in his jacket for something. "I've forgotten my keys, they're still in the room, I think! I'll be back in a second." "Oh, ok, I'll wait across the street, I wanna look at the bookshop over there." I said, and started walking outside. "Yeah, I'll get you across the street then!" He shouted after me. "Yeah!" I shouted still walking. I never noticed the car coming around the corner. The last thing I heard was Nicky shouting my name....

We both ran into the accident and emergency department, and saw Nicky sitting in a chair. "Any news?!" Shane asked him, as we walked over. I couldn't talk, I was still in shock. "Yeah, she's been admitted upstairs, but they wouldn't let me in, immediate family they said." Nicky said, standing up. "They'll let you in, I think Bryan." "Oh, right, yeah. Let's go up then." I said. "I'll wait here, in case the others show up." Shane said, patting my shoulder. "Thanks mate" I said. And me and Nicky walked up to the level where she was. "In this room," the nurse said "If she wakes up, press the buzzer and we'll get a doctor in there." "Thanks." I said as I walked in.
