"Here we are, I'm gonna apologize for the mess now." Bryan joked as we walked back over to the room. He opened the door and we all walked in. "Guys, this is Ally and - ", he started. "Oh, oops, sorry, I never even introduced you guys, this is Nat and Pnut..." I said. Pnut glared at me. "Oops, sorry, I mean Michelle." "Pnut?" A dark haired guy said standing up and looking at us. Pnut just blushed a little. "I - I prefer Michelle." She answered, and guy just nodded as if in agreement with her. "Ally was the doc from the concert hall earlier, you know, with Lou." Bryan expained, but adding in a quieter voice "Derek's... ummm... friend." "Ahhh" the other guys said as if that last comment was a missing jigsaw piece they'd been looking for. "You can say it you know, I'm Derek's ex.", I laughed and they all started laughing too. "Stage call, Westlife to stage door in 5 mins" a voice announced over the tannoy. "That's us!Are you guys gonna come and watch us?", a blonde haired guy asked Nat, while grinning at her. She just laughed all shy. Me and Pnut laughed too, Nat was usually so confident, but here she was acting so shy! "And, we watch closely as the predator, Mr Kian Egan, moves in on his prey, will she escape?..." Bryan started, as if he was doing one of those wildlife programmes. "The prey looks shocked, having noticed the predator she plans her escape..." I continued. Kian and Nat both drew me and Bryan dirty looks.
"Well?" Kian asked. "Ok then, if you want us to." Nat answered. Pnut and I both looked at Nat, who was blushing so much. We all headed out the door. "And it's a successful catch for Egan" Bryan said, careful to make sure that Nat or Kian never heard. I just laughed at him. I noticed that Pnut wasn't walking with us. "Where's Michelle gone?" Bryan asked, looking behind him. "Isn't she up ahead beside Kian and Nat?" "Nope, we're missing some one else too. Hold on, follow me." He said turned back towards the room. He opened the door. "OI! FEEHILY!! MOVE IT!!", he yelled and we both laughed as both Pnut and the guy she was talking to jumped. "Sorry guys, we were talking and... you know... lost track of time.." Mark explained, and walked over towards the door, Pnut following him.
We all continued up the stairs, me and Pnut walking behind the others. "So?" I asked her. "What?", she said, pretending to be interested in the paintwork on the wall. "Spill! What were you and Mark up to?" "What?!nothing. We were just talking, he's really sweet." "U like him, don't ya? Tell me!"I said, laughing. "I'll tell you if you tell me!" "What are you talking about?!" "You know... You and Bryan! What's the deal there? I think you like him" she said. "I, well, no! He's funny and stuff, but I've already done the whole 'let's date a boyband' thing before with Derek and look how that ended! We're friends, that's all! Stop looking at me like that!" I looked up and saw Bryan standing in front of me, he looked a little hurt, but I wasn't gonna go and make the same mistake twice. "C'mon, we're nearly ready to go on!" He whispered at me and Pnut.And ran on ahead.
"Well, You and Mark...spill!" "He's asked me if we all want to go out to the club with them after the concert.Wanna?"She asked, I could tell she really wanted to go. "Oh, OK then, but I'll need to leave early though, work tomorrow, but you guys stay and party!" I said. "Great!I'll go tell Mark and Nat too, I think she likes Kian...." She ran off to see Mark and Nat, 'geez, what am I letting myself in for?' I thought, and ran on to join Nat and Pnut at the side of the stage. We watched as the guys all began their song.

Chapter 5
The guys were singing 3 songs. 'Swear it Again, If I Let You Go, and Flying Without Wings'. I thought the songs were really nice, it was cute how during Flying Without Wings, Kian winked over at Nat. "Oh, he is doing the whole smitten kitten thing!", I joked with Pnut and Nat. "Shut up you!" Nat said. Pnut and me just laughed, because it was obvious she felt the same bout him. The guys finished their songs and left the stage. "Who's all ready for a party then? I know I am!", shouted Mark, he walked over to Pnut and put his arm round her. "I'm ready to party!"she replied smiling at Mark. We all nodded and left to go to the club. We arrived and ran inside because it was absolutely pouring with rain. We sat at a table and the guys sat down beside us. "What do you want to drink?" Shane asked. We all named our drinks. "Are you sure all you want is a cola, Ally?" "Yup, I gotta work at 7am tomorrow. So, I'm not gonna drink.Anyway, it'll be a laugh watching you guys getting drunk!" I answered. "OK then." , he said and disappeared in the direction of the bar. I heard someone shouting on me and turned around to see Derek standing over at a different table. "Hey, you decided to come to the party then! God, we've not spoken for like 2 months now.What have you been doing with yourself? It was good running into you like that today" he said. "Well, I've not been doing much, unlike you Mr Famous!I'm happy everythings going well, you know, with the band."I said, and gave him a hug.
...5 minutes later... "Where's Ally?" Shane said, "I've got her drink here." "Talking to Derek, over there" Bryan replied. "Oh, should I take it over then...or..." , he said. "No, I think they've been needing to talk about stuff."Bryan said, looking over at the table. "Best leave them to it." The others all looked over at Bryan, as he watched Derek. "Bry, you've got nothing to worry about, that was over ages ago. They're just friends. Why don't you go take the drink over, ask Derek to join us." Pnut said, trying to play Cupid. "Yeah, ok then!" Bryan answered, his spirits lifted. "Hey, you, got your drink!Hi Derek mate!"Bryan said, as he handed me my drink. "Oh, thanks Bry!I forgot all about that there!"I said, laughing. "Derek, you wanna sit over there with us?"Bry asked, pointing over at the others. "Yeah, come on, it'll be a laugh!"I said, standing up. "No, its ok. You guys go over!I'm not staying long anyway."he replied. "Oh ok,see you later" I said and gave him a hug. Me and Bryan walked over to the others. We all sat talking and laughing for a while, I think the guys were a bit drunk, (Nat and Pnut were a bit too). "Nat,you wanna dance?" Kian asked as he stood up, leaning on the table. "Sure babe!" She said, following him out to the dance floor, Mark and Pnut did the same. "Geez, look at the time, nearly 1am, I better go!" I said looking at my watch. "You gotta go?" Bry asked. "Ummm...yeah,....I have to get up at 6am tomorrow. I don't think the others are ready to go yet. Look at them!" We both looked and saw how much fun Nat, Pnut, Kian and Mark were having. "Could you do me the biggest favour, please?" "Yeah, sure, what?" Bry said. "Here's my address. I don't wanna make them come home now, but could you make sure they get home ok?" I asked, while grabbing my coat and handing Bryan a bit of paper. "OK then. I'll make sure they get back alright." he said standing up. "Thanks, I'll see you later" I figured that we'd probably see each other again,because Nat and Pnut would almost definitely be seeing Mark and Kian again, so chances are I'd be seeing a lot more of them all. "Yeah, see ya!" Bry said. I walked towards the door. I was almost outside, when I heard someone shouting my name. I turned around to see Bryan standing there. "What Bryan? Did I forget something?" I said, opening my bag. "No, I just... nevermind. It's ok. I'll see you later.", he said, and turned to go back inside. I walked out, kinda puzzled by him, and jumped in a cab home.

Chapter 6
I opened the front door, walked into my flat. I sat down on my couch and thought about all the stuff that had happened. But it was the last 5 minutes that bothered me. Bryan looked like he had wanted to say something, but then never said anything. 'Couldn't have been that important."' I thought to myself. "God, look at the time." I said to myself. It was 130am and I had to get up at 530am for work. But my mind was still full of everything from that day. Seeing Derek after 2 months, meeting Westlife, and feelings that I thought I might still have for Derek, but feelings I had for Bryan too... I sat there, and must have fallen asleep. I woke up at 5am, to find myself still on the couch, but with a blanket over me and a note on my coffee table. 'Hey Ally, I got Nat and Michelle home like I promised. Hope we didn't wake you up when we came in. See you later, Bryan' I yawned and walked into the kitchen, and poured myself a glass of orange juice in an attempt to wake myself up. I showered and got ready and left for work. I arrived at the hospital and found James already there "I'm not late again am I?" I asked puzzled. "No, but you look shattered. Late night last night?", he asked, raising his eyebrows. "What do you mean by that?" I said. "Well, weren't you seeing your ex last night?" "It's not like that, you're twisting it!" I said, playfully punching him on the arm." I went to see his band, and meet some other bands, then we went out after it. You know the score about Derek anyway! But..." "But what?", he asked sitting down. "I... well, I think I kinda like one of his friends, but that can't go anywhere." "Why not?"he asked "Because... he's in a band too, and that's kinda why things didn't work before. I never seen him cause he was away, and I don't want to go and do that again..." I explained. "But...?" "God, this guy, he's... I don't know... different..." I stopped "God, listen to me, I sound like a little kid with a crush" I laughed, but James didn't laugh with me. "I think you should go for it. Lightning doesn't strike twice, give it a chance!" , he said, standing up and walking towards the door. "Well, I don't even know if he likes me anyway, so why bother. I'll just wait." "OK, if you think that's best"he said. "Yeah, I do." We went back to the hospital for the last time before our shift finished. I was walking along the corridor when I heard some one shouting on me. I turned around to see Shane walking towards me. "Hey, what you doing here? Is everyone OK?" I asked him, looking to see if any of the other guys were there. "We were up visiting Louis, and the coffee machine up on his level is broken, so I came down here to get some drinks for us all" he explained while we walked towards the vending machines. "Who's all there?" I asked him, as he handed me a can of cola. "Ummm, me, the rest of the lads, and your 2 friends too. U wanna come up too? I think Louis would like to meet you and I could use a hand to carry all these drinks too" he said. "Sure, I'll just get changed and I'll see you in 10 minutes?" I said. "Sure, I'll wait here for you." I went and got changed and found Shane still standing at the machine. "Come on, they'll be wondering where we are!" , he said as we started walking along to the elevator. We got up to the corridor and walked along to Louis's room and went in. "Look who I found!" Shane said as we walked in. "Hey Ally!", everyone said. I looked over at Bryan, who was pretending that the can of cola was really interesting to read. I looked away and stood beside Nat and Pnut, kinda hurt that Bryan didn't even say hello. Louis sat up in bed and called me over to him. " I just wanna say thanks for yesterday." "It's ok. All part of the job." I said. Still it was nice when someone said thanks." I hope you enjoyed the boys show last night." "Yeah, I did, thanks, I think the guys are all great, I think they'll be big!" I said, looking over at Bryan, who looked at me and then back at his can of juice.
The guys all noticed, and laughed a little bit at him, even Louis noticed and laughed a little. It must have seemed obvious to everyone that we both liked each other, obvious to everyone except us. I wondered how long he would pretend not to notice me, I wasn't going to wait around for ever for him to do something to let me know how he felt. 'Oh, well, guess he didn't like me anyway...' I thought, totally confused by him.
