| Chapter 7 ...pnut... After we had all finshed seeing Louis we all headed back to Ally's flat for something to eat. We got to the front door just as the phone started ringing. "Don't stop ringing!"Ally shouted as she unlocked the door and made a grab for the phone. "Hello?!, Oh, Hi Derek!!" , she said as she walked around the living room with the phone. She was on the phone for about a half hour, and by the end of it, it sounded as though they were an item again. "I can't believe you've taken him back, after last time..." Nat said, we all sat in the living room eating our dinner. "Yeah, well....maybe this time it'll work out, it has to." Ally explained looking hopeful "It's not just us two involved now" she said as she stood up. "What? You don't mean...."I started, and Ally nodded her head. "I've not told him yet, I want to see how things go first."she explained. ...at the club... "Hey, over here!" Mark shouted, and I walked over towards him and the guys. He gave me a hug and Kian gave Nat a hug too. "Oh, there's Derek! Back in a sec!" Ally said as she disappeared in the direction of the bar. "Are those two back together?" Bryan asked, pretending it didn't bother him. "Yeah, he called earlier.I hope it works out this time." I said, I was worried that it would all end in tears again, like it had two months ago when Ally had caught Derek cheating on her. ...later on... Bryan had disappeared to the bar and Ally had come over to sit with us again, having spent most of earlier with Derek. "Well, how's it going?" Nat asked her as she sipped her drink. "It's as if we never broke up! I still can't believe it really!" , she said, as she stood up "I'll be right back, gotta go."and she disappeared towards the bathrooms. "Hey, where's Ally going?" Bryan asked, looking back at her. "Bathroom" I answered. "Oh no! " he said as he took off after her. A few minutes later, we saw Ally running back towards us and out of the front door, followed by Bryan. "I'm gonna find out what's happened!" I said and followed them outside. I looked out and saw Ally crying, and Bryan trying to calm her down. "Bryan? What ?" I said walking towards them. "Ally, what's wrong?". But neither of them answered. Then something happened. Ally started to cry more, and grabbed her stomach in pain. "Ally? You ok?" Bryan said as he looked down at her, he looked up at me, he looked really scared. "Shit....no. Bryan, stay there, I'm gonna go call an ambulance!" I yelled as I ran back inside. "Ambulance?!" , he said, as he sat Ally down on the pavement. "Don't worry, everythings gonna be ok." , he said to her. Just as I ran inside, Nat appeared at the front door, and looked over at Ally and Bryan. "I think somethings wrong with the baby, I dunno what the hell happened inside there!" I yelled and continued inside. I came back outside after calling the ambulance, and saw Derek standing beside Nat, looking worried. Then we heard the sirens, and Bryan helped Ally stand up, but they both never said anything to Derek. I thought it was weird that Bryan had went in the ambulance instead of Derek, coz he was her boyfriend after all, or so I thought. Me, Nat and Derek went to the hospital in a cab, and we told Derek everything that we knew, because we thought he had a right to know. We arrived at the hospital, went inside, and waited. Chapter 8 ...ally... I woke up, and looked around the room, I was in the hospital. I knew immediately what had happened. I sat up and saw Pnut and Nat sitting in chairs beside the bed. "Hey, how you feeling?" Pnut asked as she walked over to me. "I'll go get a doc,"Nat said as she stood up, smiled at me and walked over to the door. "I'm ok." I said. "I'm so sorry....you sure you're ok?" Pnut asked, she looked really worried. "Yeah, it was probably for the best anyway, considering..." I started, but then I heard raised voices outside in the corridor. It sounded like Derek and Bryan were arguing. Pnut noticed that I had noticed. "Bryan and Derek are outside, they were so worried about you."she said. I got out of bed and walked towards the door, "You should get back into bed!" Pnut said, but I didn't listen. "Derek, I don't want you here, I think you better go!" I shouted. "But, Ally, I -"he started,walking towards me. "I can't believe you did that to me again!! After last time!! Just go!"I yelled. "Why didn't you tell me?! " he asked. "Just go, ok?! There's nothing keeping you here, not anymore!!!"I said, he looked speechless and hurt, but I just stood there, I wasn't going to cry about it, at least not in front of him. He walked out, just as Nat reappeared with a doctor. "What was all that about?" Nat asked as she walked over to me and Pnut. Pnut took her aside and explained what had happened earlier at the club, about how I had caught him cheating again. "When can I go home?" I asked the doc as we walked back into my room. I wanted to get out of there as soon as possible, coz being there reminded me of all that had happened. "Now, if you want. You're obviously well enough to be out of bed, if that shouting I heard was anything to go by!", the doc said as he laughed. "Thanks, I'll just grab my stuff, then I'm out of here!" We all jumped in a cab back to my flat. We got inside, and everyone just stood there. "Anyone want a drink of something?" I said as I walked into the kitchen. "Ally - " "What?! I'm not gonna cry over him again. I've done that all before!Now, who wants a hot chocolate?!" I said, trying not to let them see how hurt I was. Maybe if I acted like tonight hadn't happened, I would forget that it had. They all looked at me. Finally Bryan broke the silence. "I'll have one" he said quietly. The others nodded, and I set about making some. "I better call Mark, we left kinda sudden, he'll probably be worried." Pnut said, as she picked up the phone.Her and Nat sat in the living room, as me and Bryan made the hot chocolate. He kept looking at me, really worried. "Bryan, I'm ok. Stop looking at me like that!" I said, he looked kinda hurt, but I figured he'd understand, because he saw everything that happened tonight. "I better go, we've got that whole interview and photoshoot tomorrow. Are you guys coming along too?", he asked us all. Nat and Pnut both nodded. I did too, after thinking about it for a moment. "Ok, I'll see you all tomorrow then," he said standing up and grabbing his jacket, "sweet dreams" and he walked out the door. "You too, see ya!" We all said. "Well, I'm off to bed." I said and stood up. "Yeah, me too" Nat said. "Me three!" Pnut said. And we all went to bed, to try and forget what had all happened, that night. Chapter 9 ...bryan... I got into the hotel where we were staying and went up to my room. I just sat there for a while thinking about all that had happened. I felt so bad for Ally, not just because of the baby, but because of what Derek had done to her too. I fell asleep still thinking about it. "Bryan...Time to get up, sleepy head!" Shane shouted while knocking on my door. I sat up and looked at the time, 730am. I had only gotten about 4 hours sleep. I had left the girls in the flat at 3am after we had had some hot chocolate. I don't think we all needed to sit and drink hot chocolate after all that had happened, but it seemed to be Ally's way of dealing with it best. I was really worried about her, she hadn't cried, well, not while I was there. But, you can only keep something in for so long, then it will all come out in time I guess. I got up, and got ready for the photo shoot. "Hey mate! What time did you get back at last night?" Mark asked. "Oh, ummm....about half past three. I went back to the flat after, well, you know."I explained. "How is she?" Kian asked, "Nat told us what happened when she called last night." "I...I dunno. She seems to be handling it ok, but I just don't know.She's coming to the photo shoot with Nat and Pnut today. So, I don't know if we should say anything." "Oh, OK then." Shane said. We all left and went downstairs where we were supposed to meet the girls before the photo shoot. "Hey there!" Mark ran over to Pnut and gave her a big hug, and Kian did the same with Nat. I stood back from the others, and noticed that Ally didn't seem to be saying much. I walked over to her. "Hi, how you feeling today?" I said, as I tried to give her a hug. She didn't hug me back, just stood there. Then she snapped out of her thoughts and looked up at me. She looked so tired, as if she hadn't slept at all. Finally she spoke. "Thanks for last night." "It's ok. I'm just glad you're ok." She took my arms off her and walked away from me. I followed her, "Ally?" "Just don't. I'm ok.Honestly." Ally said as she sat down on a chair in the lobby. God, I was only trying to be a friend. We both just sat there in silence until it was time to go to the photo shoot. I kept watching Ally as we done the interviews, she seemed to not say anything despite Nat and Pnut's attempts to involve her in their conversation.She just sat there, pretending to read the book she had brought along with her, but you could tell just by looking that she wasn't really focused on the book. After the interview we all went back to the hotel for something to eat. We were all just sitting at the table chatting about stuff, everything except last night, when Ally stood up. "Look, you guys don't have to tip toe round me, I'm not gonna break down if you mention last night. I'm going out for some fresh air" and she walked out the door. "I'll go after her" Pnut said standing up. "No, just leave her, I think she needs a bit of time to herself." Mark said, as he put his hand on her shoulder, she sat back down. "So, are you girls gonna come back to Ireland with us? We've got to leave the day after tomorrow." Kian asked, as he looked at Nat. "We'd love to, but we can't leave Ally, not just now..." Nat started. "She could come too, she needs it" I said, glad of an excuse to spend more time with her. "Why don't you go ask her if she wants to come too?" Shane suggested. It was a good idea. I stood up and walked out to the street where Ally was standing. "Ummm,....hey,....I was...well, me and the lads really were wondering if you wanted to come back with us to Ireland for a week or two?" I said, God, I was so nervous. "Sure, I think I need to get away from here at the moment.", she said, really quietly. "Ok then, I'll go tell the others, they'll be so happy." I replied, "you coming back in?" "Yeah, ok" she said, and we walked back into where the others were sitting. |
