| ...bryan... I woke up the day, in the empty hotel room, with a thumping sore head. Thankfully, Ally had kept the curtains closed in the room, so I didn't have to handle the sunlight yet. I turned back over to go back to sleep, when the door opened. "Hello!!!" Ally shouted cheerfully, and opened the curtains, I just groaned. "Awww....has my little Bry got a hangover?" She teased. I sat up, and noticed that she had breakfast on a tray. She brought it over to the bed, it was a greasy typical Irish breakfast. "Uh, no thanks." I said, feeling sick just looking at it. "Who said it was yours?" She laughed, "didn't think you'd be hungry. Want some?" I shook my head, no, and she sat down at the little table and started to eat. "Feeling better then?" I asked her. "Yeah, starving." She laughed. I felt relieved, because I had been worried over the past few days. I groaned again. "It could be worse Bry, the monster could be here." "Monster?" Oh right, she meant Dylan. "Where is he?" "He had so much fun with Ro and the others that he never came home." She said. "Huh?" I asked confused. "Ro kept him, because by the time I got back, he was sleeping, and I think Ro misses Jack too, so he kept him." "Oh right." I said. "Should we go and get him?" "They're already out, shopping I think." She explained. "Ro wanted to get Jack a present, and I think Dylan's going to help him choose. Which means, as usual, Dylan's going to get another toy." She laughed. "We're gonna need to get a bigger house for all his toys." "What time is it anyway?" I asked. "1130." "You're kidding!" I laughed, and she shook her head. "Bry, you didn't get in until 5am! You're gonna have to calm down." "Yes mum!" I laughed, "I'm on holiday!" "Well, you're forgiven. The others didn't get in til 5am as well, and I don't think they're doing too good today either. I'm going to finish this, and go downstairs for some fresh air." "I'll come down too. I'll just have to get my sunglasses and a hat, it's too bright." I said, and walked into the bathroom to get ready. We went downstairs and decided to sit by the pool for a while, because I was in no state to do much. We sat there for an hour or so, I told Ally all about last night when we done karaoke, and stuff that we all done when we were drunk. Then Ro came back, and we decided to take Dylan out for a walk and then finish our packing for the flight, which left at 730pm. By 530, we were all packed and ready to leave for the airport, and almost all hangovers were gone. We got to the airport and boarded the plane. I sat with Ally and Dylan, with an empty seat in the row. We were the only passengers on the very small plane, which was good, as it meant no hassle from any fans. Don't get me wrong, fans are great and we owe them a lot, but it was good to get a break too. Mark and Michelle sat together, as did Nat and Ki, and Nicky and G. Ro sat beside Lou, and Shane sat behind them, sleeping for most of the flight, due to a slight hangover which he hadn't shifted. About 15 minutes into the flight, the stewardess came round with some meals for us. "Here you go." I said and handed the tray to Ally. She took one look at the food on the tray and the colour drained from her face. She stood up. "Ally?" "God, I'm going to be sick!" She said, and ran in the direction of the bathroom. I was going to go after her but the stewardess was still standing with a tray for me and Dylan and I couldn't just leave him alone, because he was already scared by the plane. I looked back and made a sign for Ronan to check if she was ok. ...ronan... Ally came back out of the bathroom after a few minutes, looking really pale, so I called her over to sit with me, as Lou was sleeping anyways. "Are you ok?" I asked her as she sat down. "Yeah." She sighed. "Just a bit sick." "Oh, I thought that was just supposed to happen in the morning." I said quietly and smiled at her. "Yeah, I wish." She said, and laid her head on my shoulder. "Does Bryan know yet?" "No, I'm going to tell him later." Just then the stewardess came up with a meal for Lou and myself, but I didn't take one. We sat in silence for a few minutes and I realised that Ally had fallen asleep on my shoulder. I tapped Nicky who was sitting across the aisle from me and he turned around. "Yeah Ro?" He said quietly. "Tell Bry to swap seats with me." I said. "Oh ok." He replied and left to go and speak to Bryan. A few minutes later Nicky returned with Dylan and Bryan walked over to me. "Everything ok?" He asked, looking worried. "Yeah. I just thought you would want to sit with her, thats all." I explained, and moved her head, so as I could stand up with out waking her. "Yeah, thanks." Bryan said, and sat down, her head falling on his shoulder again. I got a blanket from the over head compartment and put it over them both and went to sit in Bryan's old seat. ...bryan... I sat down and sighed. I had thought that she was ok now, but obviously not. She stayed asleep for a while, and I spoke to Nicky and G, who were 'babysitting', technically until Ally woke up. "What's going on?" She asked, confused, because she remembered falling asleep next to Ro. "You fell asleep." "Ok, I guessed that one, but why am I sitting with you and Lou?" "Ro took our seat so I could sit with you." I explained. "You want to sit back there?" "Yeah, do you think Ro would mind moving back?" She asked. "I want to talk to you about something in private." She whispered. "Could you guys keep Dylan here just now?" "Yeah, course we can." G said, playing with him. Just at that Ro came back and offered us our seats back. We went to sit down again. "So what did you want to talk about?" I asked her when we were settled back in the seat. "Nothing in particular." She said, looking nervous. "Ally.... something's bothering you," I put my arm around her. "Come on, tell me. Have you done something bad?" I asked her, laughing. She looked serious. "It's about Dylan, in a way..." She started. "Yeah?" I asked, puzzled. "You like being his dad, huh?" I wondered why she was asking this, maybe Derek had threatened a custody battle. "You know I do." I answered nervously, "why are you asking this?" "Oh, just wondered if you wanted to go through all that again." She said. "What?" Did she mean what I thought she meant. "Oh my God, Ally, you're not!" She nodded her head. "Surprise." She whispered. "Happy?" "That's an understatement," I whispered back, smiling, "wow!" "We can tell people at the party, kinda like a triple party now." She laughed. "Yeah." I said, not able to stop smiling. We sat chatting about it for the rest of the flight, the others not knowing what was going on. |
