Part 10 (Bryan)
I showed Robyn her room, one of the spare rooms that we had. We walked along, and I opened the door to the room, it was empty except for a bed and some little pieces there incase anyone had wanted to stay.  "It's a big house..." She said, as we walked along.  "Yeah." I said, "my wife and I wanted a big family, but...." I  trailed off. "Sorry, I didn't mean.."  "It's ok." I said, "umm, well, is this room ok for you?" She nodded. "Bring some stuff over tomorrow and you can get settled in."
"Yeah, thanks." And we walked back out. We sat downstairs again. "Would you like something to drink? Tea? Coffee? Hot chocolate?" I  know hot chocolate isn't the normal thing to offer, but it was force of habit, it was what Ally would drink.
""Umm, hot chocolate." I was a little surprised, and disappeared into the kitchen. I sat on the chair at the breakfast bar. It was weird, even though I had only known her for 5 minutes, I felt like I totally knew her already, and well the kids seemed to like her. I made the hot chocolate and came back out into the living room. She was sitting in the chair, looking at the photos scattered around the living room walls. Ones of the kids when they were younger, ones of me with westlife, ones of the other guys kids, ones of me and Ally.
"Your wife?" She asked, I thought she would've known, after all, we were in papers a lot, especially after....
I nodded. "You didn't see the pictures?"
"Umm no, I've been studying in USA for the past 4 years, only moved back here 3 weeks ago." She explained. "Oh right."
"You guys looked happy. It's a shame. Did you guys split up or something?"
"No, she died about 6 months ago." I explained sitting down and looking at the pictures too. "I thought you knew, didn't they tell you at the agency?" She shook her head. "Sometimes the kids, especially Jess get upset over it, she gets nightmares you know...." I trailed off, my blood running cold as I remembered the night before, Jess waking up screaming.
"Oh right, I didn't know, I'm sorry." She stared down at her cup, an awkward silence followed. I was lost in my thoughts for a moment. "Is this hers?" She pointed to the jumper. I nodded again. "Ummm, maybe I should..."
"No, honestly, it's fine." I smiled at her. "Suits you." We both laughed a little. We spoke for a while about the kids usual routine, and what would be happening with me and the band over the next few weeks. We were due to release another single which meant major promotion. I wanted to take the kids with me, I was still fiercely protective of them, but I wanted Robyn to come to. She agreed that everything seemed ok, and so started a new chapter in all our lives.
