1999 december 16kaufmanesquei bought the new man on the moon soundtrack today. it was mostly to fulfill my continuing r.e.m. obsession since i was never an andy kaufman fan. i know he was considered cutting edge and brilliant and all that but mostly i just found him annoying. he did not challenge me, nor my perceptions of the world. he did not make me examine my expectations of life nor of performers. he just made me change the channel a lot.
