it seems to be like a cow
parece a una vaca.
i don't know why i like cows so much. maybe it is their steadfast placidity, their ability to stand in a field, occasionally dipping their heads to nibble at the grass, for hours at a time while seeming perfectly content. maybe it is their huge brown eyes that look as though they could absorb all the hurt of the world without so much as a blink. maybe it is their sheer bulk, rock solid and warm, or maybe it is their rarely seen whimsical side; don't try to tell me a galloping cow, tail aflyin', isn't a whimsical being.
or maybe it's just because they give us ice cream.
