about the Carolinas Machine Knitters Guild
We are machine knitters from all over the world! Our members range from girls just big enough to operate the machine to men who share their knitting hobby with their wives and partners. We began as a guild for the North and South Carolina knitters and almost immediately started getting new members from all over the U.S. and Canada. We now can say our members live all over the world and our experience level is from absolute beginner to seasoned professional.

We belong to different local guilds and stay in touch through our yahoo group and our newsletter. The yahoo group is for members only and a wonderful source of support when you need a helping hint.

The newsletter comes out monthy and is full of articles and patterns contributed by members. We offer advertising to members and non members at 10 cents per word. We also offer free advertising and a free newsletter in exchange for original patterns and articles. Advertising knitting related items in the newsletter assures that they reach the target market at a very reasonable rate.
