This sequence is a two year sequence. It has a section with general information about CK and common questions about their philosophy of early education. It then covers each "skill area" and what is expected. These skill areas are motor skills, social skills, language skills, work habits, and cognitive development. Some of these groups are then divided further. The third section gives a sample month by month implementation. It is then followed with helpful hints in implementing the Preschool sequence and though it is geared towards schools many items can be used in the home. The next section is a resource and material list that is divided by topics. Finally it includes the Kindergarten Sequence.

Because the Preschool Sequence is set up for schools many of their supplements are very expensive. However the Preschool sequence itself has wonderful ideas. If your child struggles in one area you can use it for ideas. You can easily implement their monthly schedule which is very basic. Their ideas for implementation and teaching are also helpful.
Because one-on-one lessons are so effective the preschool sequence would be considered the "basic" content. Depending on how fast your child learns you might not need to take a month per color. Supplementing would be very easy for this program since it is an outline and easily added to.
The Preschool Sequence is also great to get ideas for songs, readings, and activities without following the schedule outlined.
Most of the source is written for schools and many of the ideas for social development and physical development call for items not found in the typical home or require a group of children. (Of course your child's education isn't going to require a lot of hand raising or standing in line anyway so this is not a crucial skill.) Also the parent will needed to pull the resources together to teach the topic unlike many of the purchased curriculums.
