Den Meetings

Each month, a different family hosts the Den Meeting. If it is your turn to host a meeting, you will need to:

1. Plan the Den Activity for that Achievement (outlined in the Cub Handbook)
2. Run the Den Activity at the Den Meeting (20 minutes)
3. Bring a snack to the meeting
4. Plan and run the Go See It for that Achievement (outlined in the Cub Handbook)

Here is a list of all of the topics and activities for each Achievement . Email Jarrod or C-K if you have questions about what you are supposed to plan.

• Set the date of the trip with the other families at least 7days before the trip
• Send everyone directions and instructions by email
• Send an email confirmation at least 3 days before the trip so that people have time to check their email.

This will give all of the boys a chance to participate in the outing.

Tigers' Progress

Our Cubs are on track to get their Tiger Cub badges at the April Pack meeting and graduate to Wolf in May. Here's a spreadsheet that shows you the Achievements your son has completed. Click on your son's name to view the worksheet with his activity summary. Use this to plan the activities that you need to make up. April 8th is our deadline for making up all missed activities so that the boys can all get their Tiger Badges in April and graduate in May.

Special Outings

There are many opportunities for camping and overnight trips this year. Let's make the most of them.

Hornet Overnighter

This once-in-a-lifetime experience will take place on March 25th - 26th on the USS Hornet in Alameda. Please arrange to be there at 5 p.m. No one is allowed on board after 6 p.m.

April Cub On - April 29, 20 and May 1

The Cub-On is a great outdoor opportunity for Cub Scout families to enjoy Cutter Scout Reservation . Each family pitches a tent at one of the group sites with their pack and spends all day Saturday and half of Sunday participating in the activities. Email C-K if you are interested in attending so that we can be with the Pack. Here's the application form..

Scout-O-Rama - May 14th

Everyone in the Pack will be there. SCOUT-O-RAMA is a giant Scout Fair!  It is THE EVENT of the YEAR! Leo Ryan Park & Central Lake-Foster City (The corner of Hillsdale Blvd and Shell Ave). Admission free - no ticket or candy sale.

Cub-Parent Weekend: Spy school - May 21-22

The Cub-Parent weekends are a great outdoor introduction for Cub Scout, their families and spys. Each packs families pitch their tents together at the Boulder Creek Safe House. The day is packed full with interesting activities for all ages of cub scouts.  Do it all, from catching spys to to secret inks. Here's the application form.

June Cub On - June 3-5 or June 17-19

Tiger Cub Day Camp - August 8-12  

Tiger Cub Day Camp is in Pacifica at the SF Archery Range during this week. This would be a wonderful opportunity for the boys to get together and learn new scouting skills. The cost of day camp is $150 per week. Mark your calendar now so you don't lose out!!!!! Registration is starting at the end of February. Here are the application form, health form and schedule.

Tiger Cub Go See It's

Tigers first Pack Meeting Here are the boys at their first Pack meeting. It's hard to keep them all lined up.

Tigers at the Pacifica Community TV Station They kept Elizabeth on their toes as they saw the inner workings of the PCT station.

Tigers at the Tribune Alan and Mills saw the Tribune and landed on the front cover of the newspaper.
