I am not a doctor. Everyone in a civilization needs optimum nutrition. The animal and the plants on a planet also need optimum nutrition. Micro-nutrients are the vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids and glucosamine chondroiten. Credit to Linus Pauling for recommending optimum amounts of micro-nutrients and how to mega-dose vitamin C.

Optimum Micro-Nutrients

Warnings: Epileptics should not use any product containing Omega-6 as this will cause fitting. They should only use Omega-3. They should not use Flax Seed Oil or Evening Primrose Oil. They can only use Fish Oil. Vitamin B6 stimulates the adrenal gland. Doses higher than 500mg will make you feel over stimulated and make it hard to sleep.+++

There are an enormous number of ailments that we suffer as modern humans that are in fact due to micronutrient deficiency. In the Editorial I have an article called SuperConsciousness. The original version of this web site is over two years old. In this article I recommended the formula of "optimum amounts of all micronutrients". Sources have told me that an enormous number of people had dramatic improvements in health and in fact specific illness were cured. The sufferers groups even obtained the services of top statisticians from universities to analyse the data for that particular sufferer group, which proved the total program cured their particular illness. I will list the following specific illness, which can be cured by nutritional supplementation. I can�t here give specific proof, but it is very simple to check it out for yourself by buying a bottle of the appropriate vitamin, mineral, essential fatty acid or glucosamine chondroiten. If you have one of these illnesses you can try the specific micro-nutrient to see if it works. This should prove to you how essential micro-nutrients are. Ideally if you want really good health, the full micro-nutrient program is required. The following diseases are all micro-nutrient deficiency diseases. Micro-nutrients are not drugs. They do not inhibit enzymes or interfere with the normal operation of the body. They are in a sense building blocks for the body. If the body needs a particular building block the idea is to give it the optimum amount of the building block, furthermore of all the building blocks.

High Blood Pressure: 500mg of the niacinamide or nicotinamide form of vitamin B3 once a day. You can buy this in any health food shop. High Blood pressure is a vitamin deficiency disease. If you have a blood pressure machine, you will see a dramatic improvement within half an hour of trying one 500mg tablet of niacinamide or nicotinamide. Vitamin B3 is one of the most important and plentiful vitamins in the body. Do not use the Niacin form of vitamin B3. It doesn't really harm you, but you get a severe skin flush, which can be a little alarming.

Diabetes: Chromium Picolinate - 8 tablets a day. Chromium is essential for the functioning of insulin.

Epilepsy: Folic Acid - 8 tablets a day

Osteoporosis: Calcium/Magnesium - 600 mg of calcium and 600mg of magnesium. Good results should be obtained in 1-2 weeks

Arthritus: Glucosamine Chondroiten - Powder form 1-2 tablespoons /day or tablet 4-8 tablets per day. Start at lower doses. If effect is not good enough try higher doses.

High Cholesterol: Flax seed Oil (High in Omega-3 and Omega-6 essential fatty acids) - 2 tablespoons per day. Good results can be obtained in 1-2 days. Epleptics must not use Flax seed Oil. Epeleptics must only use Fish Oil 4 capsules per day

Cancer Preventive: I contend that this super micro-nutrient program will prevent cancer. I have over two years ago proposed the formula of "optimum amounts of all micro-nutrients" in the article "SuperConsciousness" of the old version of this web site (see start of Editorial). A top statistician from a university could analyze the data from people who have been on this program to prove if indeed this program will prevent cancer. Another approach is to do a statistical analysis of people who have cancer. Did any of them take micro-nutrients in the past? All the substances in this super micro-nutrient program are available and do not require further approval by regulatory agencies. Any statistician in any company or university could do these statistical analysis.+++

There are a great many other illnesses that can be similiarly treated however some are due to multiple deficiencies and are best treated by a complete super-micronutrient program. For total good health a full Super MicroNutrient Program is required. Remember micro-nutrients are in food, just not in large enough amounts and not in the foods we typically eat.

Super Micro-Nutrient Program

The following substances can be bought in any Health Food or Vitamin Store without a prescription. Micro-nutrients should be taken after meals.

Daily Doses

Vitamins
One good multivitamin.
Vitamin A. - 25 mg
Vitamin B complex - 4 tablets (Typically each B complex tablet contains 50mg of each of the major B complex vitamins)
Niacinamide or nicotinamide form of vitamin B3 - 500mg
Folic Acid - 8 tablets (500mcg/tablet)
Vitamin B12 is available in a nasal gel, if you can get this. You really only need one dose of this a week, because absorption is extremely good and it will send your blood levels nice and high.
Choline - 300mg
Inositol - 300mg
PABA - 300mg
Biotin - 600mcg ***
Vitamin C - 500mg to 1000mg per day
Vitamin D. this vitamin is fat soluble and is considered a little toxic at higher doses. It is only found in multivitamins. So to get this you can take a multivitamin so take one good multi-multivitamin as above. A closer look at this vitamin is needed. It should be possible to buy it separately. I suspect we need more than is generally realized.
Vitamin E - 500 I.U.
Vitamin B15 should be investigated. It is another important vitamin and should be made available.

Minerals
Calcium/Magnesium - 600mg of calcium and 600 mg of magnesium. If you are using spirulina and calcium as recommended for Cancer or HIV in the main section of this web site you cannot take extra calcium.
Chromium Picolinate - 8 tablets. Chromium is important for the functioning of insulin
Iron - 1 tablet
Selenium - 1 tablet
Zinc - 1 tablet
Boron - 1 tablet
Potassium - 1 tablet ***
These minerals accumulate, so after you've been taking them for awhile, you might want to take a break.
A minor mineral supplement If you can get this, in my opinion this is helpful. There are a lot of minor minerals.

Iodine is essential but is not easily available and the dosages are not well known.+++

Essential Fatty Acids
Flax Seed Oil (Omega-3) - 4 tablespoons or 12 capsules
Evening Primrose Oil (Omega-6) - 2 capsules
Omega-9 essential fatty acids are not available and seem to be ignored. There needs to be more investigation to find what it is useful for. It should be available.

Epleptics cannot use Flax Seed Oil or Evening Primrose Oil because they contain Omega-6 essential fatty acids, which cause fitting in Epileptics. They can only use Fish Oil 4 tablets. If you�re not epileptic please do not use fish oil, because fish have to die to obtain this. I suggest that the vitamin companies locate a plant that contains only Omega-3 essential fatty acids

Glucosamine Chondroiten
1-2 heaped tablespoons of powder or 4-8 tablets.

This is a lot of tablets to swallow, but you can divide them up and take some after breakfast and some after dinner and/or lunch. You can also crush up these tablets and mix them with juice or soy milk. The B complex vitamins can be mixed with a little honey. The fat soluble vitamins and the essential fatty acids come in capsules and can be cut open and the oils also mixed in juice or a smoothie etc.

Fibre
Psyllium 2 tablespoons

Mega-Dosing Vitamin C

Vitamin C is very interesting, because the body absorbs as much vitamin C as it needs from the gut and the rest is left in the gut. It is impossible to really overdose, however if there is too much left over in the gut, you will get flatulence (farting) because Vitamin C is acidic, so this is a sign you're taking too much vitamin C. People in good health typically will find more than 1 gram will start to make them fart. People who are very sick, or recovering from an operation, can chow down on the vitamin C at up to 10-30 grams per day, before farting. When people are sick, the body has a need for a lot of vitamin C. Most animals manufacture vitamin C in the liver. Humans are one of the few animals that cannot do this, due to a missing liver enzyme. So if you're sick and home alone, you might want to try this out. The idea is to keep taking the vitamin C every hour or two until you start to fart a lot and then ease off. At that point you are saturated with Vitamin C. You'll find you feel quite a lot better. If you have medicine to take, you should of course also take it. Vitamin C is something additional that is very helpful. I claim that you'll recover much faster if you do this.

It would be good if vitamin companies could develop tasty liquid preparations of vitamins, because swallowing so many pills is quite trying. This is also necessary for babies, after they are weaned they cannot swallow pills. I have requested that the vitamin companies make a formulation in which the vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids and glucosamine chondroitin are embedded in tiny capsules which can be suspended in tasty liquid and just swallowed. I presume the capsules should be gelatin, but there may be some other substance that might be better.


Optimum Amino Acids

There are 22 amino acids. They are the constituents of protein. Protein is the most plentiful substance in our bodies. We can be considered to be protein beings in a way. It needs to be investigated what are the optimum amounts of all amino acids because we need optimum amounts of all amino acids. We typically get this in our food particularly meat, however the meat we eat is all muscle protein. There may be deficiencies. The other organs of an animal we for cultural reasons don't eat. Nuts are high in protein. Soy protein powder is available in vitamin and health food stores and contains a good balance of amino acids and can be mixed with soy milk. Hard tofu is a good meat alternative and can be used instead of chicken in any chicken recipe. Tofu is made from soy-beans+++. Green lentils are high in protein and can be used instead of mince in many dishes. There is also available soy yoghurt, soy cheese and soy margarine.*** Chickpeas are also high in protein. Avocados are a very good source of protein.@@@ Indian food has a lot of interesting mild tasty vegetarian curries.@@@ All these plants have a better mix of amino acids than meat.+++

In general the usual recommendations of high fibre, low fat, complex carbohydrates and unsaturated fat should be followed.


Children and Pregnant Women and Pets

Children especially also need a child's version of a super-micronutrient program. They will mostly do much better in school and hardly ever get sick. In my opinion children under 2 years old should get one eighth of the doses recommended here, children 2 - 5 years old should get a quarter of the doses recommended here, children from 5 - 10 years old should get half the doses recommended here, and children from 10 - 15 years old, should get three-quarters the doses recommended here and children above 15 years should get full doses. For children under 2 years old, one approach might be to crush the tablets and mix with honey or baby food. B complex vitamins are bitter so they must be mixed with honey. For the fat soluble vitamins A and E and any of the essential fatty acids that come in capsules, the capsules could be opened and the oil in the capsules once again mixed with honey or baby food. Babies and children who get this super-micronutrient program will be very smart and healthy. Soy protein powder mixed with soy milk or juice is also very beneficial for babies and children because it supplies extra amino acids.

Pregnant women in my opinion need twice as much as the dosages recommended here. They will in this case need to split the doses up between breakfast and dinner because it's too many pills otherwise. They could take some pills at lunch also if they wanted to. There is also tasty soy protein powder (chocolate and stawberry) which can be mixed with juice or soy milk and is available in Health Food and Vitamin stores. This is also very beneficial for pregnant women and their babies, because it contains alot of amino acids. If a mother is taking this super micro-nutrient program when she is breast feeding (which should be on demand of course) her baby will get the micro-nutrients in her milk.

Vitamin companies should develop micronutrient formulations in which the vitamin and mineral tablets are ground up and the oils of the fat soluble vitamins and essential fatty acids and the glucosamine chondroiten are mixed in a tasty juice or fluid of some kind or soy milk, so people don't have to take so many pills. This would be an alternative approach to developing the tiny capsules.

Pets need micro-nutrients ground up and put in their food also.
