IF YOU HAVE BEEN TAKING QUERCETIN, SPIRULINA, BIACALIN OR ANY OTHER CK2 INHIBITOR, I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU STOP TAKING THEM IMMEDIATELY, IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY DONE SO.
AN UNEXPECTED BEHAVIOUR HAS EMERGED FOR QUERCETIN AND SPIRULINA AT LEAST.

I tested positive 15 years ago.
My very first T4 cell count was 520, approx 1 year after I tested.
In January 1996 my T4 cell count was 70 and my viral load was approx 300,000. I was on AZT and DDC.
I started combination therapy with the protease inhibitor Indinivir and DDI and D4t. A month later my viral load was 460, and my T4s were 460. I must admit that probably saved my life.
Since then my T4's have stayed in the low 400's and viral load typically under 1000.
Last year I started to fail therapy, and was having problems with short term memory. I was switched to "salvage therapy"! This worked to once again stabilize my blood counts.
I started to experiment with CK2 Inhibitors in early February this year. I didn't at first realize how they worked.
I severely overdosed, due to the fact that the interaction of Quercetin with Vitamin C was not widely known. It took me a week to come out of overdose. During that week I was completely miserable. I could take care myself, but I felt incredibly over stimulated. I'd going walking for hours in the middle of the night to try and work off my tension. In the middle of this week I got my bloods done and my viral load was 750,000, T4 cells were 300.
I came out of overdose and felt great. Tried a little vitamin C and during the day, had copious sweat coming out of my armpits, despite having put on underarm deoderant and just sitting round. Five days later got my bloods done again. This time my viral load was 7,900 and my T4s were 370.
I started dosing 1/8 tablet of Lymphodram and megodosing Vitamin C, skipping days when sleep was a problem. I also tried one half tablet (1/2 gram) of Spirulina with 600mg calcium. Realized that it was also a CK2 inhibitor. I felt that I had overdosed again, but next viral load was 1,200 and T4s were up to 450.
As many people have undoubtedly realized, calcium-spirulan in Spirulina is almost certainly a CK2 inhibitor. Just as the co-factor for Quercetin is Vitamin C, the co-factor for spirulan is calcium.
Because of the ringing sound in my head, for the last month I have not taken any Quercetin or Spirulina. I had previously taken both, and also small amounts of Skullcap Herbal preparation which contains Baicalin and also Propolis.
I have continued to get the familiar nervous system side effects just from the use of small doses of Vitamin C and calcium. I finally realized after about a month that both Quercetin and Spirulan were behaving like fat-soluble vitamins - they were being stored in the body, probbably in the liver. I issued a warning as soon as I realized this. The flavanoids were originally considered to be vitamins, but then it was decided that they do not meet the strict definition of a vitamin, and the classification was dropped.
I had restarted Vitamin C at a very lose dose of 200mg in the morning, and continued day after day to experiment with steadily increasing doses of Vitamin C up to 1 gram. This gave problems with sleep again, so I cut back.
On some days, I would calcium instead, starting with a supplement containing 50mg Calcium, and going up to a cup of yoghurt, which contains a little less than 200mg calcium.
Sometimes I'd do a bit of both, but whenever I had problems with sleep, I'd cut back the next day. In both cases, for the rest of the day, I'd try to avoid Vitamin C and calcium.
I continued to find them both stimulating and my goal was to be mildly stimulated during the day, but to have the effect wear off by evening, so I could sleep. On average this amounted to approximately either a half gram of Vitamin C or a cup of Yoghurt, in the morning every day. Even a month later, I still occassionally take too much Vitamin C or Calcium, and end up having problems with sleep, which is a real pain in the neck.
The ringing sound in my head has gradually improved and is now mostly just a slight buzz.
This strategy has worked very well. In a little over a month my T4s have gone from 450 to 640! CD4 percentage has gone from 12% to 17% My viral load is not yet available, but it can only be very low, if not undetectable. (<50)
This is still the preliminary experience of one person, but results are pretty dramatic. In my opinion CK2 Inhibitors are gonna fly.
See article "Dosage Strategies" for suggestions for future dosage. Even if you've over-dosed in the past, I believe recovery is possible.
