I often think of all the forks in the road that have bought me to this place. So many places where if I had chosen the other fork I would not have been in the position where I am now. It is so important to as we say in Australia to "do the right thing". You don't have to worry too much about all the complex things in the world or even if you make honest mistakes.

I think of all the people who have helped me personally when I didn't even know and didn't even thank them. Now it has been my time to help others. It's good karma. The world is so complex, but every little kind word or thought matters. You never know what the ramifications will be.

Sometimes things do go wrong and very wrong. In those times I sometimes think well what's the worst thing that can happen. Well to die? If you believe N.D.Es are real, then it is wonderful on the other side. But of course not before your time. I do believe we hare here on earth to learn lessons and grow as spiritual beings. We cheat ourselves if we suicide to get to the other side because it's so great over there. We cheat ourselves of the opportunity to grow and learn. Sometimes things are so bad, that some people do kill themselves. And I think if someone is in a terrible place, then that is O.K. The thing to remember is that the Being of Light loves you anyway no matter what. All you have to do is to accept that love. It's not about faith really. As modern man we do need some scientific basis for giving credence to something and N.D.E.s give us that.

Everyone makes mistakes. It's O.K. to make mistakes. That's how we learn. Our spirit never dies. The people we love, we will meet them again on the other side or in another life. Nothing is lost, no-one is gone forever although it is very sad to lose someone you love even for a time.

The worst thing is to be in pain. It seems to be somewhat intrinsic to our world. We all have varying degrees of paint, both physical and psychological. It's a fact of life.

I sometimes think there is no such thing as evil , only people making mistakes. Or people in pain - as in the primal sense - people in pain. There is a reason for everything and a meaning for everything. And one day we will know.

There is a song by a group I don't recall, but I'm going to take the liberty to print it here anyway:

Over the hills and far away, I'm going understand one day
What the other half believes in, whether it's real or just deceiving,
So until I find that day, I'm going on my way
When I look back on my life I'll know I lived it right.

As it says in Desiderata,

Whether or not it is clear to you,
No doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

Sometimes it is hard to know what is the right thing to do. Just do the best you can.

As Dr. Deming would say - he never met anyone who wasn't doing the best they could under the circumstances they find themselves.

Suggestion 1
Do the right thing. Let the chips fall where they may.

Suggestion 2
Judge not, that ye be not judged.

Suggestion 3
Forgive others if you can. (You may have to primal a lot before you can, or just tell someone you're angry at them first.)

Take care of yourself.

Suggestion 5
Take some time to think something through, especially, if it's a big deal.

Suggestion 6
If times are tough, put one foot in front of the other.

Try to be humble. Remember the following facts:

1. There are over 6 billion people on our earth.

2. Our sun is a star and there are trillions of stars in our galaxy.

3. Furthermore there are trillions of galaxies

4. Not to mention the Being Of Light

We are all equal in the eyes of the Being Of Light.

I know this should be first, but yes, try to love one or more other beings. (if there is no human you can love, then a cat or a dog will do)
